It felt like a good old Showa inn.

It feels like the inn you see in a black and white movie is being run as it was back in the day, without any major repairs. It's very old, so it's recommended for people who like the early Showa era atmosphere. The room is clean and the air conditioner is working, and when you go down to the first floor you will find a vintage kitchen and a shared bath next to the serving room, which has a huge bathtub and a good temperature. The hair dryer was powerful and helpful. The interior is a nostalgic inn with an unusual floor plan, a Japanese-style room with yellow-colored plaster walls, a squat toilet, funky Japanese-style sliding doors and pillars that show off the skin of cherry blossoms, old tatami mats, and various types of patterned roll glass. The futons and cushions are firm and comfortable. All of the mirrors are from that time and have the logo of the kimono store on them. It was close to Gotemba Station and 246, and there was plenty of space to park two motorcycles. There are also several stylish izakaya restaurants within walking distance. I arrived late, so I stayed the night without meals and had delicious freshly baked pizza at a stylish place called Horana.

It's a great place to go to eat in the downtown area.There's a supermarket called Sansan Cook nearby and a liquor store next door, so you won't have any trouble finding food or drinks even if you're staying overnight without meals.It's a short walk from the station.It seems that you can check in until midnight.We also accept reservations by phone after 11pm.It was my first time living in this area, but it was very convenient.The only drawback was that the bath was a family bath.I went there with the intention of staying for several nights, but since I was the only woman staying there, I paid for one night and left.The next day, I went to see if I had forgotten anything, but when I arrived after 9 o'clock, they had already finished cleaning. I was a little disappointed that I had checked out before the check-out time.

Traditional inn, simple but delicious breakfast...This is a great inn to visit by car.Baths and toilets are shared, so if you're not good at it, it might not be for you.
