It was the best place on my solo trip to Kamakura. It's close to Hase Station, you can walk to Hase-dera Temple and the beach, and the accommodation was nice and cozy. Although nearby restaurants close early, you can have dinner at the restaurant operated by the accommodation until 9:30, and there are quite a few delicious restaurants nearby!Above all, the staff was so kind that we talked a lot and it was an unforgettable and happy trip!If you want a quiet alley, a beach, and cozy accommodation, this is the best choice!

The staff is super friendly and helped me carry the luggage to the room also helped me take downstairs. Also helped me call a taxi even helped me pull my luggage to outside waiting for me get on the cab and left ! It’s so rare even in Taiwan they won’t help you to do that ! The food I had the night before was super tasty . It’s next to the guesthouse, I think it’s also belonging to the guesthouse, because the staff was the same guy who help me carry my luggage upstairs. I chose grilled steak with veggies and the appetite was also great ! Super delicious! It even tastes better than a proper restaurant! And people were in the bar super friendly and helped me up my journey in Kamakura told me which ways I go would saved my time. Let me feel super warm and like that place so much ! One day trip was too short there are so many beautiful places to see ! I would definitely come back again and stay more days here next year! Thanks for helping me ! ❤️

Guesthouse Shibafu served our needs in Kamakura. You are most of all paying for the location. It is centrally located in Hase – a few minutes from the trolley station, then 7-8 minute walk in various directions to the Daibutsu, Hasedera, and the beach. The tatami mat room was about as small as we ever found. With the futons out, we barely found space to open our suitcases. Shared toilets with a sink/shower for each room. The hosts were a bit distant though friendly. Yet, overall, being in such a great location was worth the expensive price for such a small room.

Accommodation near the temple, clean, no parking provided. You have to find your own parking spot. But the entrance cannot allow cars to park in front of the house. If you have large bags, you have to drag them yourself from the parking spot we chose. The accommodation is clean, safe, there is a breakfast restaurant downstairs. The owner is kind, the service is good, but the entrance to the room is narrow and small. and the room is quite small If you plan to use a large bag You may have to consider looking elsewhere. Overall impressed

The location, transportation, attractions, and life functions are all very convenient. It can be reached in a few minutes' walk from Canggu Station. It's even closer to the Kotokuin Big Buddha, only 2 to 3 minutes' walk away. The bus stops are very close. You can take a ride to Kamakura Station and you'll be there in no time. The fare is only 200¥. Get on the bus at the back, put your tickets and coins in the front, and get off. From Kamakura Station, you can take a bus to Hachimangu Shrine, Sugikannon, Bamboo Garden, and Meijōji Temple. You can buy a one-day pass for 800¥/day, which is more cost-effective. Take the Enoden Railway from Kamakura Station, and it takes three stops and a 5-minute drive to Hase Station. It's also very close when you get off the bus and walk to Guesthouse Shibafu. The boss and reception staff are very nice and easy to get in and out. Check-in & check-out, luggage storage, no problem. Hachimangu Shrine is very close to Kamakura Station and the shopping street. It is worth visiting. The hydrangea path at the foot of Haseder Temple is highly recommended in the temple. Especially the hydrangeas of various colors and varieties are in full bloom, and there is an endless stream of tourists. , competing for photos and happy smiles, immersed in the sea of flowers, this trip is definitely not in vain! These are all within walking distance of my residence. I booked another two nights here and then extended my stay for a third night before returning to Tokyo~

Rooms are indeed a bit tight but in my experience this isn’t abnormal for this part of the world. The big selling point is the location, which is amazing. You can also rent e-bikes for a few hrs, which is convenient. The owner is also very nice and room amenities itself is fine. One caveat is that I found the bed to be too soft.

Rating is far too high based on what you get, we booked a bunk bed room for two people. We were prepared for a bunk bed but oh boy we got a broom cabinet that could barely fit our luggage let alone us. One had to leave the room if the other wanted to get something from the back. A TV is mounted opposite of a blind wall so there is no actually watching as there is about half a meter between the wall and the TV. Bed are incredibly hard (not uncommon in Japan, but this was very uncomfortable). Whole area is shoes on so the floor isn't as clean. I have heard other people be more positive about other rooms but ours was just way too small taking into the account of the still hefty sum of money we had to pay
