5/5
I found this hotel while looking for a hotel near Meigetsu-in Temple for the purpose of viewing hydrangeas. It takes about 5 minutes on foot from Kita-Kamakura Station. There is a Lawson conveniently located between the station and the hotel. It just opened last year, so the facility is new and clean. It smells like cypress, and you can feel the warmth of wood in the interior. I was a little worried before I stayed because there wasn't much information, but when I actually stayed there, it was very comfortable and I highly recommend it.To enter the hotel, you will need to exchange your PIN number via email in advance. Personally, it doesn't bother me at all, and I don't have to worry about people coming in except for the guests staying there. Check-in is done on a tablet, so it may be a pain for people who don't like manual operations. It seems like there will be staff available from 3:00pm to 6:00pm, so it might be a good idea to inquire. The room I stayed in had a raised tatami floor where you had to draw your own futon. The futons are clean and the futons are all washed. The toilet and bath are separate. There is no refrigerator in the room, but there is a shared refrigerator in the common space on the first floor. Disposable chopsticks and cups are available in the common space. Individually wrapped instant coffee is also available. None inside the TV building. No pajamas. The shampoo and conditioner were individually wrapped by Muji. There was soap in the bathroom, but I didn't want to use it for hygiene reasons, so I bought a small body shampoo and used it to wash my hands and body. The hotel itself is quiet, but since it's right behind the station, you can hear some noise and vibration every time you pass by, but personally, it doesn't bother me that much.Stay overnight only. The staff were very courteous and were very helpful in giving us information on nearby restaurants. If I ever go to Kita-Kamakura again, I would definitely use it again.
