It's a hotel with a retro atmosphere, but it's not a bad place to stay. There are many restaurants downstairs, so you don't have to worry about having dinner.

The location is in front of Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine, close and convenient. Elevator whose entrance is difficult to find. It has a retro handmade feel. Even though it was a Western-style room, they had a traditional men's-sized yukata, which was too big since I was traveling empty-handed. There's no outlet in the bed, so I couldn't hear the alarm while charging my phone. No alarm clock, no clock. No welcome drink. There is only one pack of green tea in the room and it doesn't taste good. The cup is a regular plastic cup and I'm not sure if it's clean or not. The receptionist is kind and polite.

My mother and I shared a twin room. I can't shake the Showa feel of the facility, but I think the location is great. The Wakamiyaoji bus stop is right in front of you, and you can see the torii gate of Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine. Also, the hotel starts on the 3rd floor, but there are restaurants and souvenir shops on the 1st and 2nd floors, and I went to the Italian restaurant on the lower floor. I used it during Golden Week, but it wasn't noisy and I was able to relax.

My husband and I stayed in a twin room. The hotel and room were average, but the location was top-notch. Next time, I would like to stay for several nights and take a walk around Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine early in the morning.

If you are traveling to Kamakura, this hotel is the best! It's close to the station and Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine is right in front of you.If you want to visit shrines or temples, you can go on foot. The hotel is not new, but it is well kept. I was able to check in even though I arrived a little early, and even after checking out I was able to leave my luggage and take a walk.Thank you to the owner for his kindness. I've spoken to him on the phone several times, and he's a very nice guy!
