・Sekikottei Ishida332-3 Chisato, Achi Village, Shimoina District, Nagano PrefectureThe most famous hot spring inn in Hirugami OnsenI visited for the first time in a while with my baby. The room is the same guest room as last time.(Indoor open-air bath)renewedIt has become a more comfortable space. My daughter was able to run around in a spacious room and was running around energetically. Please be careful as the hot springs are too hot for babies. You can enjoy both dinner and breakfast at the indoor table. There is also a large public bath and a private family bath, so you can fully enjoy Hirugami Onsen.Thank you for the meal

I used it for 1 night and 2 days for the purpose of a heavenly paradise night tour. Every corner of the room was thoroughly cleaned and felt clean. All the staff were kind, very pleasant, and polite. The food was very delicious, and the Tanka Zen breakfast was also delicious. Each one was heartfelt. The hot water in the bath was just right and my skin felt smooth. The detox drink after the bath was also good.On my way home, I received a letter from the staff, which made me very grateful. It was a great inn that took care of everything, and it was a great memory. I would love to visit you again.

Thank you, Rina Watanabe-san, for your thoughtful service. We had the pleasure of staying at a ryokan in the Hirugami Onsen area, called Sekitaitei Ishida. The grand entrance was impressive, and upon stepping inside, I was greeted by a Noh stage made entirely of cypress wood. Every evening, they host traditional art performances. The breakfast, called '短歌膳” consists of 31 different kinds of pickled vegetables (reservation required). When we left, they thoughtfully took a commemorative photo for us since it was my birthday. 😊"

A luxury inn located in Hirugami Onsen. This time, the grounds were open to the public for the Tanabata Festival, and we were able to see the colorful Tanabata wind chimes. There is also a stage in the lobby, and there seem to be various performances for guests every night.

Every corner of the building was thoroughly cleaned. The large public bath is just the right size, not too wide and not too small. The food was delicious and the staff were very kind. The quality of the hot springs at Hirugami Onsen is the best.

The so-called Sekikottei can be easily understood from its characteristic open-air bath made of locally sourced natural rock and the elegant courtyard where you can enjoy. You will feel relaxed in the atmosphere of the Sukiya style. This is a pure Japanese style inn where you can feel the traditional beauty of Japan. You can watch "Shishinden no Banquet" every night for free on the Noh stage inside the building. On the day of our stay, a shamisen and koto concert was held. At the end of November, there will be a ``Hospitality Kyogen'' event titled ``Future Kyogen Tokusa'' (admission fee: 12,000 to 8,000 yen). The hot spring that flows from inside the stone is a simple sulfur spring (weakly alkaline) that is good for the skin and has a smooth texture that is pleasant to the touch. You can also enjoy the cave bath made of natural stones. However, I personally regret that it is a little lukewarm. There is also a private bath available. The cuisine is also rich in color, making use of local blessings.Appetizers, appetizers, appetizers, soups (matsutake mushrooms steamed in clay pots), and rice bowls (chestnut rice) are a great way to enjoy autumn. The Shinshu Kuroge Wagyu beef grilled in a salt pot was tender and delicious when served with wasabi. The rare crab marinated in kelp was also delicious. Also, it was very nice that there was a TV in the private dining room (...the 2023 Japan series was being held on that day).I would like to come in spring next time. What has recently made this ryokan famous is its breakfast "Tanka Zen" (commonly known as 31 Zen). Personally, it reminds me of the ``18-course breakfast'' at Tsukiji Honganji Cafe. You need to be careful not to eat too much rice (...I skipped lunch). The morning market can be reached in a few hundred meters after passing through the parking lot.
