We came in 2015. The owner was very kind. We will definitely return in the future. Goodbye. The hostel is very clean and the rooms are quite large. It's very quiet at night and the WIFI connection is pretty good. …

I am a member of a youth hostel, but I didn't know there was a youth hostel in Kamakura. An article posted here states that 4,000 yen is expensive, and I thought it was expensive for a youth hostel, so I looked at the official booklet of the Youth Hostel Association and found that it was 4,000 yen for non-members and 3,000 yen for members. So I would like to introduce the data. Membership fee of 3000 yen is actually cheap.

Contrary to the backpacker's guide, I strongly advise against this guest house. The couple is unpleasant. The wife doesn't speak any English at all so when the husband isn't there... it's a hassle. No lockers to protect belongings. We do not enter the hostel after 10 p.m. lack of kitchen. And also the guest is empty, so for the atmosphere...(we are in the middle of August). In short, to be avoided (without forgetting that the cleanliness left something to be desired)

I think 4,000 yen for a room without meals is not expensive given the location, which is within a 15-minute walk from the Great Buddha and the coast. I think it would be a good idea to go there as if you were going to stay at a relative's house. The bathroom was also large and comfortable.
