This is a relaxing inn where you can enjoy hearty mountain cuisine prepared by a warm-hearted couple. The price was also attractive.

This inn is run by a kind-hearted couple. A full course of mountain cuisine including rockfish sashimi, salt-grilled mushrooms, cooked rice, and shredded soba. I enjoyed the Yamajin Festival stamp rally. Early in the morning, I prepared a lunch box and took it to the Aizu-Komagatake Takizawa trailhead. If you ask, they will even come to pick you up when you are going down the mountain. You can also use the hot water bath (3 minutes walk) by borrowing a ticket for guests. After descending the mountain, I borrowed it and took a bath.

I used it for 3 days and 2 nights for the purpose of mountain climbing during Golden Week. It felt very homey, very attentive, and made me feel comfortable. Every meal was wonderful, and I enjoyed the elaborate wild vegetable dishes. There were so many items that I was confused as to which one to start with. They kindly responded to my request for a rice ball bento on the day of the mountain climbing and prepared a bento with side dishes. When we returned home, they gave us bottles of Oze's natural water for each of us, and were kind to us until the very end.

When was the first time you visited here? While I was fishing in Minamiaizu, I was always visiting soba restaurants, but this one was the best! I couldn't find that store. Around that time, I think I heard from the owner of the now-defunct Silk Valley Campground in Mokuzoku Onsen that there was a very good soba restaurant there.Or maybe Mr. Tatsujo, the owner of the Yamayuki Kawayuki Pension in Tateiwa, told me about this place as a place to buy daily fishing tickets for the Hinoemada River. It was a long time ago, so I'm not sure for sure, but I finally came across a restaurant that is famous for the local specialty, the soba noodles. However, in the summer of 2014, they ceased operating as a soba restaurant. It was a shock.Nowadays, it is only served to guests.Originally, Hinoemaki was an unexplored area among poor unexplored areas. I couldn't get any filler, so I only used 100% buckwheat flour. Because soba noodles break when folded like regular soba noodles, soba noodles are cut like cutting cloth instead of stacking them on top of each other and using cutting boards. The soba noodles have a slightly flaky flavor, and the soup is light. The bitterness of the wild vegetable tempura was a nice accent to the soba noodles, which lacked any flavor.Later, a young man in the tourism department described it as the god of judgment. We also have local dishes such as hatto and sansho fish tempura.

There is a couple who welcome you in a homely atmosphere. The soba noodles prepared by the owner are exquisite. As for the hot springs, you can take a bath at the ``Hinnoyu'' right in front of the hotel, which has the name tag of the inn, but the indoor baths ``Iwaburo'' and ``Hinoki Cypress Bath'' are also wonderful. This inn is the closest to Ozenuma in Hinoemata.
