Highly recommended! Clean and comfortable BnB in a large Japanese house in a traditional village near Fujinomiya. Our host took our booking by telephone, speaking English and Japanese. Upon arrival we found a very comfortable and spacious house, and we were shown our tatami style room on the ground floor. A guest bathroom and separate toilet, both clean and modern, are also on the ground floor, and a shared lounge and kitchen for relaxing. Our host was amazing! We found ourselves having conversations in English (and my basic Japanese!) about local history, places to see nearby, how to tell the weather by observing the mountain, and Japanese village life. Due to our late arrival we declined his offer of dinner, a decision I regretted after enjoying the delicious breakfast he prepared for us the next morning! Waking early the next day, I took a walk through the village to the shrine he suggested, observing a traditional Japanese village come to life with Mt Fuji as a backdrop. All in all a very memorable enjoyable stay, with a thoughtful and polite Japanese host. I will be back and I will be bringing friends! Arigatou ☺️🙏

There are a lot of insects and there is no TV in the room, so the path to get there is narrow. The room was clean.

I had a great time with Itaru and his cooking skills. The rooms were clean, cozy and traditionelle.

Incredible hospitality and a beautiful rural setting for seeing Mount Fuji away from the crowds. The host Itaru is an amazing chef and we enjoyed meeting him and learning about the area and about traditional Japanese food he prepared. The host gave us a great tour of local attractions that have a wonderful view of Mount Fuji. I would recommend inquiring if he is available to do so for you if you choose to stay. Itaru was very patient with us as we speak no Japanese, and communicated with us in English. We are very grateful for our trip there!

Thank you for staying with us this summer after climbing Mt. Fuji. Anyway, the vegetable dishes that make the most of the ingredients are exquisite! ︎I enjoyed it with both my eyes and my tongue.There is a wide range of cuisine, from Japanese to Italian to Chinese, and you will be satisfied no matter what you eat.Recommended when climbing Mt. Fuji! ︎

I always feel like I'm at home and relax. I think the personality of the owner and the location surrounded by nature have a lot to do with it. With a short drive, you can visit scenic spots such as Mt. Fuji, Asagiri Plateau, Lake Tanuki, and Shiraito Falls, and the location is great.But most of all, I'm most looking forward to the time I get to talk to the owner and the unique people who come to the inn!

The items prepared by the owner, who is a good cook, were delicious and we used them for the purpose of eating. We highly recommend the shared meal.There is a temple called Misawa-dera in front of you, and the sound of the bell makes you feel nostalgic. You can spend a peaceful time in the quiet surroundings.

The food prepared by the owner is exquisite! We had a lot of delicious meals. If you are staying overnight, we highly recommend a shared meal.Although the exterior and each room look like a regular residence, the living room is a wonderful space that reflects the owner's taste. It's the best way to enjoy the village forest "Yuzuno", which has a different atmosphere from the city of Fujinomiya!
