Used on pilgrimage. You can have your luggage dropped off while visiting Kongochoji Temple. The rooms are reasonably clean, have Wi-Fi, and have a washer and dryer (100 yen each).However, it was the poorest meal I had at the pilgrimage guesthouse I stayed at. Still, how about 7,500 yen [including two meals]? I want people to be less stingy with their meals and to have more fulfilling meals.

I stayed there in October 2024 while walking the pilgrimage route.Although I stayed without meals, I was provided with cold barley tea in the refrigerator, which quenched my thirst.Although it feels a little dated, the bathroom was clean and easy to use.Thanks to all of you, I was able to climb up to Kongochoji Temple comfortably the next morning. thank you very much!

I made the reservation based on the photos of the meals posted on the reservation site (fresh bonito tataki, etc.), so I was quite disappointed.

Used on July 19, 2024 for walking pilgrimage.This is a guesthouse located at the foot of No. 26 Kongochoji Temple.Since I arrived early, I left my luggage with me and went to No. 26 Kongochoji Temple. Thank you for your help!

This is a general guesthouse. There is a washing machine and dryer. Tea service is also available. It is conveniently located at the foot of the 26th temple. The rooms are clean and the food is delicious.

It will be used for a walking pilgrimage in May 2024. Located at the foot of No. 26 Kongochoji Temple, this inn is in a great location and is a valuable accommodation for pilgrims. The food was simple, but the seasoning was delicious.

This is my second time using it as a reverse. The location is at the foot of Kongochoji Temple, 30 minutes from the temple. We arrived at the inn where we visited Jinmineji and Kongochoji. It was a 36km walk along the pilgrimage route.The rooms are clean, but the food lacks a local feel, which is disappointing. Washing machine and dryer are both 100 yen.

A beautiful well organized stop for a Henro. Full kitchen/dining for those who seek it. Super clean with everything a pilgrim needs. 40 min up hill to temple 26

I used it on the second day of my car pilgrimage.Despite my sudden request to stay without meals, they kindly accommodated me.They prepared a room near the stairs for my father who has difficulty walking.I also received a 2,500 yen outing coupon that I could use at a nearby convenience store, which was very helpful!Thank you for a pleasant night.I would like to use it again on my next pilgrimage.

The room is old but clean, but you can hear the voices next door. Towels and toothbrushes are available in the private bathroom and are free to use. Tea and hot water is available in the hallway. Meals are eaten at the cafeteria. Newspapers and magazines are available at the pilgrim's dining room.

Seriously, this old man is so annoying!! ️Last night (around 20:00), I looked around the hotel with a flashlight, but unexpectedly at around 2:30 a.m., I was carrying a flashlight and it was shining all over the outside of the hotel grounds, which was terrible. I was sleeping at the pilgrim rest area in front of the inn, but the light woke me up. I'm tired and sleeping, so why? I cross the street with a flashlight and shine it everywhere. All I can say is that it's really crazy. Is it harassment of pilgrims who don't stay at hotels? I'm going to go beyond my limits even if it's insane. The companies that set up pilgrimage rest areas are really conscientious (there is one in Geisei Village, too). Don't they harass people who don't make money?

The food is filling. Location is pretty good. A natural place to stop before the next temple.
I was kind of surprised that 1 meal + 1 night is charged the same as 2 meals + 1 night. I didn’t get to ask, but maybe that’s the way they do things here?

On a walking pilgrimage.I arrived early, so I left my luggage with me and went to the 26th temple. Since I was staying overnight without meals, I borrowed a bicycle for shopping. The washing machine (detergent) was free and the dryer (100 yen for 30 minutes).I really appreciate being able to use the microwave and hot water freely! !The room also comes with a key so you can rest assured.The landlady seems a little blunt (this is my personal opinion...), but I can see that she is actually a warm-hearted and nice person.thank you for helping me!
