This is my first visit in 14 years, but nothing has changed.Full course of char, char bone wine, and hot springs. Everything was great.I would like to visit again.An open-air bath by the river. Still hot!! ️

The restaurant will be in a separate building.There is only one bath, but it is limited to 3 groups per day, so you can take a bath without having to wait.It's interesting that each toilet is designated.Each room has its own hearth, so it's nice to be able to eat separately.It was a dinner full of rockfish.

I want to eat a lot of char! My husband and I love river fish. You can eat a lot of char at Fukumotoya. At Fukumotoya, I tried char milt, eggs, liver, and other parts of char that I had never eaten before. The char is delicious and makes me happy. This was my third time staying here, and I was able to eat really fresh char, so I think this year was good as well. The vegetables are also delicious. The soup you eat at the end is also very delicious.I was also glad to be able to greet the gods above the ceiling.The hot springs are also great. We went in several times during our stay (this time we were the only ones). I always think about going to the communal bathing area, but I don't go every time because I'm scared of horseflies, but the hot springs at Fukumotoya are the best, so I think it's okay if I don't go.The homemade plum wine was so delicious that I now regret not ordering it before. My husband always drinks sake with a whole char in it.I would also like to visit you soon and eat lots of char.

Group touring was completed! It is about 2 and a half hours from Aizuwakamatsu. Along the way, you will run along a mountain path, passing through tower-no-hetsuri. The entrance to the inn is a little hard to find, so you'll have to look carefully at the sign to pass by. (I passed by) The inn has separate reception, dining and lodging buildings. The room is a clean, normal guesthouse-style room. It's a quiet place anyway. Bath towels can be purchased, but it is better to bring your own. The meal is at a charred inn!As you can see in the photo, it's full of charred vegetables! The sashimi was delicious and had no taste at all. The portions are quite large, so even a big foodie like me was satisfied! In the evening, we had two kinds of char skewers grilled in the hearth, salt and miso, and in the morning, we had candied sardines! The kanroni was so soft and delicious that you could eat it from the head on! After that, the rice was fluffy and delicious! I highly recommend this inn!

It's a secret hot spring.The source is Tokusa Onsen (pronounced Tokusa Onsen (lol)). Only 4 groups can stay. Even two people can make a group, and even 10 people can make a group.
