My flight back to Naha was cancelled, so I decided to stay overnight. It is treated as an annex to Getto Moon Peach near Minami Daito Airport, and the prices are a little higher due to its location in the downtown area of the island. However, I think accommodation rates are cheaper at inns on the island (but only for rooms without meals). There is a room on the second floor of the building that you go up the stairs to. The building made me think that it was originally a simple accommodation facility or dormitory for people involved in civil engineering work. The room was clean but basic, with a fold-out bed and a thin futon. The room is equipped with air conditioning, TV, refrigerator, and electric kettle, and you can lock your room. The toilet and shower are shared. There is also a microwave, gas stove, and sink, so you may be able to cook your own meals. There was also a washing machine. I was also happy that there was a power strip with a long cord. The location is also convenient, with shops and restaurants within a 1-2 minute walk. However, many restaurants are closed on Sunday nights, so it's a good idea to consider making reservations in advance, including breakfast. The nearest supermarket was open from morning till night.I think Moon Peach is the only inn on the island that can be booked online. Therefore, they also support nationwide travel, and I was given a coupon when I stayed there. However, there are no stores on the island where you can use the coupon, so it is best to use it after returning to Naha. You can get a free shuttle to the airport or port, so it's a good idea to check the meeting time in advance.

I stayed for 2 nights on my first visit to Minamidaito Island! The location is in the center of Minamidaito Island, with supermarkets, snacks, izakaya, and yakiniku all within a 1-minute walk. The room had everything we needed, and the plumbing was clean. You can use the washing machine for free, and you can also rent a car if space is available.Recommended if you are traveling to Minamidaito Island as well!

We are evaluating this on the assumption that it is a remote island, so if you want facilities similar to a city hotel or a luxury hotel, we recommend you to go to Miyako or Ishigaki first. Now, on to the main topic, the accommodation is on the second floor, and when you go up the stairs, the right side is the guest room, and the left side is the laundry and laundry space. Photo ①②③When you turn to the right, there is a 3-hole shared toilet on the right. Although it is not a shower toilet, it looks neat and clean, and there are 2 shared shower rooms on the left.If you go straight ahead, there are guest rooms on both sides of the hallway, and the sliding doors of each room can be locked. Photo ④The room has all the necessary facilities, and when I went there in July, the air conditioner (free of charge) and refrigerator cooled well and was extremely comfortable. Photo ⑤What was especially good about it, from my experience, was that it was super comfortable with a memory foam bed rather than a rice cracker futon, which is common in remote island accommodations, and although there was some noise, it wasn't made of plywood walls. It's made of concrete blocks, so I don't think I'll be able to sleep because of someone snoring next door. Photo ⑥⑤For those who are not used to staying in guesthouses, you will need to bring your own pajamas, and the only towels available are bath towels, so you will need to bring your own face towels, etc. There are some insects that have invaded the remote island, but since it's on the second floor, I thought they weren't there, but it's a warm area all year round, so they come in little by little, and there are geckos here and there, and they're chirping (lol) Photo ⑦It was the most comfortable guesthouse in the same price range in my experience on remote islands (Okinawa is only 3 islands), and they also had rental cars, rental bikes, and boats, and it was possible to tour Kita-Daito. It was a recommended inn for enjoying Minamidaito.Above all, the landlady, X⇒ @g_moonpeach, has a wonderful personality.Although at first glance she seems to be a soft-spoken person, she was able to give me solid instructions on things to be careful of on the coast, and I was able to rely on her for any information I had about the island. There are restaurants and shops nearby, and everyone is naturally considerate, making Minamidaito a very comfortable place (*^▽^*)

I used it a month ago.The middle passage is the main front for traffic, and guest room 203 on both sides is vacant because it is an employee room. There is no food or anything, so be careful not to stock up on things in the morning and evening. Please note that ATMs are only available at agricultural cooperatives or post offices.

I think this is one of the cleanest and most comfortable hotels on a remote island.Recommended for solo travelers. It's centrally located so you won't have any trouble finding food or shopping. You can also access each spot by renting a bike.Nearby shops were open from 6am to 9pm.

Supermarkets and restaurants are also within walking distance, so I think it's the best value for money. The room was clean and larger than I expected, and I felt comfortable during my stay. The staff were friendly and kind, and they taught us about the island and were very helpful.I still want to use it!

I stayed for 3 nights and it was comfortable. We will provide transportation to and from the airport. The rooms and shared bathrooms are clean. There is some sound leakage, but it's cheap so you can get away with it. The free washing machine is also helpful if you stay for multiple nights. With a plan that included a meal ticket, we bought a bento box at a nearby store in the morning and ate out in the evening.Rental scooters cost 2,000 yen for 24 hours. We traveled around the island for 3 days and the gas cost was less than 500 yen. I was planning to work more, but I'm too relaxed...The people in charge were friendly, and it was nice to see the names of familiar places in Tokyo, such as Hikifune. Some people were noisy until late at night, but it was tolerable. The only problem I had was that during my consecutive stay, the door was unlocked and towels etc. were put inside the room. I don't want it to go in, so I wish they would have given me 3 days worth at first.

The landlady was very helpful to me.Currently, only the second floor seems to be the accommodation facility. There are 3 toilets (not shower toilets) and 2 showers, so I didn't have to wait. The shower had shampoo, conditioner, and body soap. All rooms were non-smoking, and the Yuntaku space seemed to be a smoking area. There was a notice that if you smoked in the room, you would get a butt pen.The room had a one-door refrigerator, individual Daikin air conditioner, bed, electric kettle, and TV. There is one bath towel, but there are no smaller ones such as face towels, so you should bring your own. There are no nightgowns, but it's generally warm so you can sleep in a T-shirt and soft pants. The TV is only terrestrial digital and does not show BS, but I think it would have been unthinkable just a few years ago for a TV to be shown on Minamidaito Island. There was an extension cord in the room, and it was of the type with three outlets, which was helpful for charging smartphones and digital cameras. The light switch was a remote control so I could turn it off while lying in bed.The first floor is currently under renovation. It seems that there will be a large room that can be used by a family. They also have rental cars and rental bikes (moped scooters), so I think it would be a good idea to contact them via email in addition to your hotel reservation.I don't think there are that many, so I think it's best to contact us early.
