This trip came to Kamifurano Town, Hokkaido, a small town about 0.9 times the size of Taipei City but with a population of less than 10,000. Geographically, there is Biei and Furano below. It is very convenient to stay here for a few days if you want to visit this area.In addition to the simple, comfortable and clean space renovated from an ancient house, the biggest highlight of this B&B is the animals raised by the proprietress. The moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the border collie Moon. The ponies and sheep who love to eat are not afraid of the wild land. Stick your head out of the railing and take a closer look during the day and there are owls and silkies!The lady boss is very enthusiastic and can speak simple English. However, if you want to meet the sunny landlady and cute Moon, you have to visit between June and September. In October, the landlady will move back to Yokohama with her family with Moon and Owl. It is not expected that they will fully move to Yokohama until 2026. Living in Furano.

Although located in the middle of farmland, it’s just a 5-6 minute drive to the nearest supermarket or town, making it a great choice if you want to experience a different style of accommodation. Besides having dogs, there are various farm animals like sheep, horses, and chickens, and notably, snowy owls and other owls that you can interact with up close. It's very interesting, but be prepared for some typical farm smells that might take a little getting used to. The interior of the accommodation is surprisingly modern and high-standard. The shared facilities include a well-equipped kitchen on the first floor with all necessary appliances and utensils. There are also two bathrooms with bathtubs, two shower rooms, and two toilets on the first floor. On the second floor, you’ll find two additional toilets and sinks. All these shared facilities are new and clean. The rooms themselves are also clean and comfortable, though the soundproofing could be better. There’s a small space on the second floor where you can watch the sunrise, which is absolutely beautiful. Overall, this accommodation is ideal for self-driving travelers who want to experience farm life

A very nice and comfortable accommodation. The ceiling of the room is high, so the upper bunk bed doesn't feel oppressive.There are toilets and washrooms on the 1st and 2nd floors, and there are also two baths and two showers.There is a hook to hang your room key and car key, and every detail has been designed to make it easy to use.

Clean space, wonderful owner, and adorable animals at a great value. We had a really lovely stay at Kyoko-san’s place, enjoying the nature around the inn. Just a few minutes drive to Kamifurano town and about 20 mins to Furano. Thank you kindly for sharing conversation and laughs with us!

It was one of the best stays in Furano!I miss this place so much. I love how clean Gufo is, thanks to the friendly lady who cleans up daily. Our room, technically on the 1st floor, felt cozy with two toilets and a basin. The bed was comfortable, and we appreciated the abundance of plugs for our devices.Visiting at the end of April, we caught the start of spring, though there weren't many flowers yet.The Gufo farm added charm with its pony and goat, greeting us every morning.It's a very safe place where you can freely explore by car, just remember to respect the locals who are incredibly kind and friendly.Despite reading some mixed reviews, we were delighted by the simplicity and perfection of everything. Here are a few highlights:The location near farms offers the best mountain views.Conveniences are just 5-10 minutes away.We savored the best prawn ramen.Enjoyed a nearby cafe right on a farm with delicious pasta and coffee. In fact, there are several cafes in the area, all nestled next to farms, creating a charming ambiance.

I visited on a family trip!The children were very happy with the bunk beds✨There were owls and goats in the garden, and they had a lot of fun feeding them.He says it was the most fun he had on his trip to Hokkaido.The guests were mostly from overseas.

best. Even though I have traveled a lot, this is one of the best accommodations. The environment of the accommodation and the guests staying with it were good, but it was also nice to see the owner's know-how added to the unique Japanese neatness everywhere. It's so much better in reality than in a photo, so much so that I want to take a photo and give it to the owner. The scenery is really nice and the buildings and facilities are clean and nice. The pony and goat brothers are also cute.Really nice place. The guests come from various countries, but rather than chatting and making noise, the atmosphere is one where each person respects their time and space and smiles brightly when they meet each other. It is a wonderful accommodation that gave me really good memories.

I went in late July.It felt so good to be surrounded by the great nature of Hokkaido. During the day, we went to see a nearby lavender field, and at night we bought local meat and melons at a nearby supermarket and ate them in the kitchen.The starry sky was beautiful at night. I had a great time.

1. This place has a lot of rooms.2. There is one shower room (with bathtub) on the first floor, one for men and women.3. The sinks are located on the first and second floors.4. I was assigned a room on the second floor and had to carry my suitcase upstairs.5. The location is good for exploring Biei.6. It is good to visit near the main road.7. It would be nice to travel with children because there are animals.8. I think there are about 6 rooms on the second floor. Of course, it wasn't a full book.

I will not stay here again, NEVER. Even though the house itself is nice and there is a goat and horse near the house. The host is absent and it is lack of management. The lobby is very smelly, and the room is noisy due to thin wall.Other guest baked their shoes on the lobby for almost four hours, and nobody stop them because there is no host around here.The check-in experience and house condition is poor, I've never encountered those kinds of situations in Japan, or Hokkaido.Hope the host pay more attention on the experience of guest.

💐#Animal Healing Wind’s Happy B&B👍#Furano A good reason to abandon the hotel🥰#It looks like the B&B I want to open❤️The cute border collie Moon, the sheep and goat Kirin beer that she loves to eat, the powerful big-mouthed pony, and the incredible thing is that there are: two #owls!👍The cabin B&B is comfortable, tidy and clean. It has a fully equipped public kitchen, washing machine, free and delicious coffee machine. The room is modern and air-conditioned, and there is a beautiful view outside the window!👍The most amazing thing is the shared toilet and bathroom, which are completely clean and sanitary, and even have a #big bathtub!❤️The warm and friendly proprietress and the welcome dog make people like it. The couple bought a 60-year-old ranch and renovated it into a new style. They have been running the B&B for about 7 years. The staff are cute and speak enough English to talk to each other.There is a kitchen and a place to eat.Restaurants around here are a little hard to find.If you go by Google reviews, most of them are full. You have to make a reservation and search for many restaurants.The floor is wooden. Be careful of your voice. Because it will be difficult for anyone with sensitive ears. It may be difficult if the next room makes loud noises.It's the 7th month. The weather is 18-21. Open the window and sleep.
