Absolutely incredible stay at Togari over New Years with my partner.Lianne & Sam are so kind and the best hosts any guest could ask for - From transfers, booking gear rental, snowboarding lessons (english-speaking) and excursions like seeing Nozawa Onsen and the Snow Monkey Forest for us. The hosts were incredible and could not have done any more for us. So so nice!The ski-in area is perfect to change out of and store all of your gear after a day on the slopes. The heated area for boots and gloves etc. Especially was ideal.The on-site Onsen area was super hot, simple and very relaxing.Rooms are simple with a shared shower, but private toilets. Very comfy, clean and perfect for a short stay, with everything you need on-site. Even washing facilities.Staff were also lovely, fun, friendly and super helpful.Food was delicious too. The breakfasts and dinners we had were fantastic. The Chicken Sliders, Saba Toast, Hot Sake and French Toast were some of our faves!Lianne & Sam even managed to very kindly arrange for a late dinner for us after we managed to stupidly oversleep and miss the alloted dinner service time, then go out to try and find food in the snowy, local town on New Years day... needless to say we came back cold, wet and hungry. Sam & Lianne still managed to arrange something for us.Absolutely amazing hosts and they really made our stay a special one, which we will always remember and cherish.Arigato gozaimasu to Lianne, Sam and all of the lovely staff at Togari. We will definitely come back!

The best coffee and vibe for milessssssss

We had a one night stay here and it was a great experience. Leanne is really friendly and helped us feel right at home. Sam was able to organise two fantastic ski instructors for my partner who had never skii'd before - and by the end of the day was able to do a full run from the top of the mountain! The only small inconvenience was that you can hear people moving about at night from your room, expect a hostel kind of vibe and you won't regret staying here

Tatami room was spacious and great for large groups. Really want to try the bath next time. Breakfast was very good western style fare, especially the french toast. Great location, you can practically put on your gear at the entrance and ski your way to the lift!

Togari Inn 18 is a hidden gem waiting to be discovered!Located just beside Togari Onsen Ski Area, it’s a wonderful option for those looking to explore snow sports. Nozawa Onsen Ski Area is just a 15min ride away. It has small town vibes with very friendly locals.Leanne, Sam and their team made our trip such a memorable one and they really went out of their way to assist our stay. Highly recommended for those who might not speak any English and might need some assistance in booking gear and getting classes around the area.Rooms were comfortable, warm and very homey. Breakfast comes included and they have their own onsen in the basement.We will definitely be back!
