We had a gorgeous Lunch here whilst visiting the island. And the host was lovely. (i certainly did appreciate speaking in english.. ) The food was fresh and the place is really cute.(WE DID NOT SLEEP HERE)

We were there 6 nights in total! The stay was very welcoming! The 3 workers (Hana, Ai, Mako) were very attentive and nice! During our stay a typhoon came, and we felt very accompanied, they warned us that the shops would be closed and that we should stock up on some basic things.The place is ideal and there is a very good atmosphere! He speaks perfect English and the food in the restaurant is delicious! The burgers are awesome!

The room smelled moldy and the ceiling was leaking. The mattresses are thin and hard pads. The floor of the shower is just concrete.The employees are relatively friendly but don't go out of their way to help the guests. No proper lounge area. It's an OK place to stay if you're on a budget, 5/10 I guess.

If you can stay cheaply on Zamami Island, this is definitely the place!

If you want to stay on Zamami island for a low price, there is not much of a choice, however there is not much more speaking for it.Comparing to other guesthouses and backpackers places, it lacks in comfort an facilities. There is no washing machine. There is very little space to store your lugguage (only the space under the bunkbed). The beds are too short if you are >1.90m. There are safetybars around the beds, getting in and out of bed is cumbersome. A nice thing is that there is a small fan attached to each bed.The owner doesn't seem to like his job and interacting with his clients.If you're a person hesitating for a place to stay on the kerama islands, I'd recommand the Kerama Backpackers on Tokashiki over this one.

The team was very friendly and welcoming, apart from the boss who doesn't respond when you say hello and sulks from morning to evening.The air conditioning in the dormitory doesn't work very well and it's generally quite dirty.No kitchen or place to sit apart from the restaurant room which is inaccessible during restaurant hours.

It's a good budget stay. Improvements can include Aircon (it's warm at bunk room) and mattress (found it thin and so I can feel the hardness of the bed, had to use my comforter as it's warm anyway). The food served at it's restaurant is sooo good! We had the Zamami burger and Okinawan pizza - both are to die for.
