I stayed there in January 2023. Since Nagano is located at a high altitude, it is generally cold! Also, getting to the inn is a little scary when it snows!Other than that, I had no complaints and thought it was a good accommodation. I used it on a snowboarding trip, and I think it's a great accommodation for people traveling for a specific purpose. The futon is comfortable and the bath is hot spring. There is no shortage of rice either. I think this inn should be rated a little more.

It's on a hill, so the view is wonderful. The food was delicious, especially the soba noodles for dinner, which I thought were carefully prepared.I think they took proper measures to prevent infectious diseases.

Got contacted directly and asked to cancel my reservation just 2 days before check-in date in very insistent tone without even properly apologising. Had to look for another accommodation options and of course overpaid.

A younger friend I had known at work decided to quit his job and help out at his parents' guesthouse, so I decided to go to Iiyama City during the summer holidays.I asked him to listen to my selfishness and decided to have a car come to Nagano city to pick him up, but unfortunately the express bus he was on got stuck in an accident and traffic jam, making it a long bus journey.A friend who cared for me went to Kijimadaira's secret hot spring before going to Iiyama? He took me to Magaku Onsen Bokyo no Yu.It seems to be famous as a hot spring with a wonderful snowy landscape, and the view of the misty mountains from the open-air bath was quite mysterious, not typical of midsummer.Afterwards, I was shown around Amida-do Hall, which was used as a filming location for the movie, and I was so dazed by the view of the Chikuma River that I forgot that time had passed. At Belforet, I was able to spend a brief moment of relaxation enjoying the heartfelt hospitality of my parents, homemade food, and making soba noodles for the first time.I happened to be staying with a cultural exchange group from the United States that was being invited to the area, and I guess this was also out of respect.Of course, it is said to be crowded with skiers in the winter.By the way, the Hokuriku Shinkansen was under construction at the time, and now that it's open, access should have become much better by getting off at Iiyama Station.

I used the 6 tatami room for solo touring. ||I was very grateful that I was able to park my bike in the garage. ||The building is old, but the rooms were well maintained. …

It seems to have started as a guesthouse during the height of the ski boom, but the interior was laid out in a folk art style, giving it a calming atmosphere. …

I used Belforet Kanizawa when I went snowboarding in the northern Shinshu area. ||What I thought was the best thing was the food. Dinner was hotpot (Togari hotpot?), and it was delicious and warming. …
