I feel like it's a good deal at this price.I think I saw a sign on the way to the hotel that said I couldn't go to Nozawa Onsen, so if I couldn't go further, I thought it would be a nice hidden hotel.The view from the room is a view of what used to be a ski resort slope to become a grassland, and while I thought it was a waste, it was a view that spread far into the distance, unlike in places where there are trees in front of the building and you can't see the view. I thought, I'm grateful for that.The rice was also delicious. Now that I think about it, I was curious about one thing: For dinner, I used my favorite type of rice, and I liked the way it was cooked, and it had a chewy texture with a hint of sweetness, but in the morning, it was different. I'm sorry if I misunderstood, but I felt like, "Huh? The same meal as dinner? There's no need to change the way it's cooked, so the food was kept warm?" It seems like it only came out from our table, so it might be a misunderstanding on our part. It might be a problem with the position in the rice cooker when it's placed in a bowl.)The men and women bathing in the baths alternate at night and in the morning. The Hokuryu Lake side and the Hokushin Five Mountains view side are located on opposite sides of the building, so the scenery changes at night and in the morning.It was raining at night when I went yesterday, but the open-air bath in the foreground has a roof, so it rained quite heavily, but there were times when no one else was bathing, so there was a roof. I used it.Later, on my way home, I saw Oku-Shinano BUNZOU's raw chocolate on sale, so I bought it. I visited just before check-in and did eat-in and take-out. I had bought cakes and other things, but since I was staying here that day, I had given up on buying raw chocolate, but I'm glad I was able to buy it here. thank you! !

The building was beautiful and clean, and both dinner and breakfast were very satisfying and filling.Because of my job, I stay at a variety of accommodations, but what particularly impressed me about Hokuryuko Hotel was the sincerity of each and every staff member, including those at the front desk, those in charge of transportation, and those at the dining venue. I don't usually write reviews, but I'd like to write a review about this inn, where everyone, including the room cleaners and all the staff, provided warm customer service that made me feel "I'm glad I came!".My husband also thought it was very good.The fresh chocolate welcome sweets were so delicious that I bought two boxes as souvenirs on my way home.Next time, I would like to visit Hokuryu Lake again. thank you very much.

The location, cleanliness, and the friendliness of the staff were all excellent.It's also close to Nozawa Onsen, so I think it's the perfect place to enjoy Northern Shinshu.A morning walk around Lake Hokuryu will calm your autonomic nervous system.I would like to stay here regularly.

The customer service from the staff is wonderful. They greeted us with heartfelt customer service and saw us off, and when we asked them about sightseeing in the area, they kindly answered our questions. The room and public bath were spacious, clean, and well-maintained, so I had a comfortable stay. The welcome sweets included a box of raw chocolate in the refrigerator in the room, and it was very delicious. It was a great hotel with reasonable accommodation rates and great customer service. If I had one wish, I would have been happy if I could wear room wear with separate tops and bottoms instead of a yukata. Also, there are no restaurants nearby, so please be careful if you are staying overnight without meals.

I used this hotel this time while having sup at Lake Hokuryu✨The atmosphere and view of the hotel were wonderful! The customer service is polite and the food is delicious, so I'm satisfied.At night, I went for a walk outside, and I was able to see the stars really clearly, making it a wonderful memory!Just a little more shop? shop? I wish you could increase the number of products...😭The raw chocolate that was in the room was delicious...I would have bought it if I had it as a souvenir...Or if there isn't much demand, wouldn't it be a good idea to sell drinks unmanned like the beverage vending machine next to it? That's what I thought as an amateur...However, this time I used it in the summer, so I would definitely like to use it in the winter next time.

I stayed for one night in August and was very satisfied and the cost performance was good.I came here by Shinkansen, so I told them my arrival time and they came to pick me up. On the way to the hotel, the person who picked us up talked to us about Iiyama's specialties and people from this area, and played songs composed by famous people, which was fun.(I didn't know there was a patisserie owned by the creator of raw chocolate)The room was clean, probably recently renovated, and had a feeling of openness as you could see the Chikuma River and Mt. Myoko from the large windows. The welcome sweets in the room, Bunzo's raw chocolate, were also delicious.What is noteworthy is that the dinner had a wide variety of items and was very satisfying. It was very delicious with lots of local ingredients such as vegetables, meat, and Shinshu salmon! !However, it may be too much for women to eat. . .I didn't bring my child with me this time, but there was a baby cot and baby chair in the public bath, so it seemed like it would be a good idea to bring my child. Once the road under construction is fixed, it will be possible to get to Nozawa by car in about 15 minutes, so I would like to stay there again the next time I come by car.

In one word, it's the best hotel! !The other day, for my mother's birthday, I wanted to forget about reality and spend time in the quiet nature, so I stayed at this hotel!This was the first trip my mother and her grandchildren had ever wanted.I had asked in advance if they would like to surprise my mother on her birthday, and I am so grateful that the surprise was even better than I could have imagined.There were raw chocolate and birthday cards in the room, and when my mother noticed it, she cried with joy.The room was very clean and the view from the window was amazing!During dinner, we had a shamisen performance in a private room, and we all sang nostalgic nursery rhymes together. I thought we had a wonderful time together, but then I realized that my mother was practicing her favorite songs that I had told her about. I played the guitar and sang it ♡My mother was so moved that she burst into tears.I was very satisfied with the luxurious meals that I couldn't finish one after another!We had asked for an assortment of fruit, and what came out was a wonderful assortment that everyone was happy with.There is a large public bath, an indoor bath, and an open-air bath, and the starry sky seen from the open-air bath was the best.After bathing, I went outside to look at the stars at Lake Hokuryu, and I was able to see many shooting stars.All the staff are very kind, polite, and considerate! !It became the best memory ♡I will definitely stay again!Thank you m(_ _)m

I wanted to eat Togakushi soba so I looked for a hot spring hotel nearby, but I couldn't find one, so I decided on this hotel considering I was planning to visit Kasugayama Castle and Teradomari the next day.The hot springs were nice, the food was delicious, the room was spacious and the view was amazing, and I was very satisfied with my relaxing stay.It was a memorable trip.Thank you to all the staff.I would like to support the Hokushin region to become more energetic.Unfortunately, I forgot to take a photo of the hotel so I can't post it.

Amazing and highly recommended place!!! We stayed at Hokuryuko Hotel in January 2024 and we loved the service, location and amenities of the hotel. The service was Exceptional, very polite, kind and professional staff, everything was pristine clean, convenient shuttle service to the ski slopes at Nozawa Onsen and train station, highly recommending including a meal plan to your booking!We selected the package with the 2 course meal plan (breakfast and dinner) and every day we enjoyed a variety of multi-course meals prepared by the chef, the food included dishes of Japanese and Western cuisines and was exquisite.The top level of the hotel has beautiful indoor and outdoor onsens with outlook on the forest and mountains. This place has everything you need for a great stay in this area.We would like to thank one more time Manabu, Tetsuya, John, Chef, Michiyo, Sakamoto and Takahashi for making our stay enjoyable and memorable, we recommend this hotel to all of our friends, family and anyone who is reading this review! :)
