Nouka Minshuku Seiryuan 農家民宿青柳庵 is a 170-year-old house. It is a bed and breakfast. This place is especially famous for its good lunch and dinner, so I definitely recommend eating dinner here.

The boss couple are very kind. Although they didn't speak much English, they worked hard to chat with us using the translation app. Please note that they do not have showers attached, but they will introduce you to nearby hot springs (prices range from 300 to 800 yen). It is recommended to make a reservation for dinner with the owner and his wife; we eat grilled fish/wild boar pot, chat/drink beer together, and spend a very wonderful evening.

The boss and his wife are super friendly and will try their best to explain and chat with us using Google Translate.Although we can't take a bath there, they took out a list full of hot spring introductions and told us where we can take a bath.Dinner and breakfast were also very delicious, and the overall feeling was very good👍

It is nouka (farmhouse) and minparku (bed and breakfast). The only drawback is that there is no shower facility... I recommend visiting in the evening after washing in the hot spring. The owner couple was very friendly and tried their best to communicate using a translator. We arrived late and couldn't eat dinner because our car broke down, but the host couple provided us with the dinner they had been eating. If possible, make a dinner reservation... We serve seasonal country food!! There are no restaurants around ㅜㅜHighly recommended if you want to experience the sincere consideration of a country couple in an old country house that you only see in Japanese dramas and movies.

Since it is a holiday, the accommodation near Kokonoe on AGODA is quite expensive. So I booked this B&B. The owner of this B&B is really very kind.Show us many things about rural cultureAlthough I don’t speak English at all, I can use GOOGLE to translate conversations.(But I think people who understand Japanese can better integrate into this culture)However, we are traveling as a small family and we encountered some situations that we would like to share with you.1. Bathroom: When I arrived, I discovered that the B&B did not provide bathroom facilities. Looking back at the AGODA details, there was really no bathroom :( However, there was a clean toilet, and no toothpaste, toothbrushes, towels, etc. were provided.2. Meals: Because there is too little information on the Internet, I didn’t know that this is a B&B to experience farm life. Most people will order dinner when they go there. But we didn’t book dinner at the B&B. Most of the nearby restaurants closed at five o’clock. We have to drive 30 minutes to the city to eat and take a shower, which is very difficult for families with parents or elderly people!3. Accommodation: The place is really remote. It is recommended to arrive early, otherwise there are mountain roads along the way, which can be dangerous.Next to the cowshed is a very rustic farmhouse. The house is very old. Of course, you can also say that it has a historical feel. There is only a wooden door between the sleeping place and the outside~Dogs bark outside the door in the middle of the night, making light sleepers less likely to fall asleepAnd a big bug ran onto the pillow(This is how it is in the countryside, but you must know that it is a very old farmhouse)In terms of the quality of breakfast + accommodation location + equipment, the room rate is on the expensive side (I booked it for 20,000 yen/four people/including breakfast)The starry sky outside is very beautiful and the air is good.If you are a backpacker or a young group who want to experience Japanese culture,If you don’t have too many requirements for accommodation, I think it’s suitable for you to stay. But if it’s a family, it’s not highly recommended.I can only say that this is a really novel experience.

We arrived here after enduring heavy rain and gusty winds on the night of Typhoon Trami. It was my first time in my life to visit a Japanese old house with tatami mats and sliding doors that open multiple times, and it was quite an interesting experience to visit a house that I had only seen in dramas and movies. As expected, as it is a rural house in the mountains, some insects were found, but thanks to the consideration of the owner and his wife, I was able to sleep comfortably at night. Waking up all night to the sound of rain and thunder, this house felt like a museum with items that were hundreds of years old stored there. I even drew a picture to express my gratitude to the owner and his wife who carefully prepared me breakfast. The birds and puppies they raised themselves were also pretty. Korean travelers who have so many good memories thank the owner.

This is a farmhouse guesthouse run by a middle-aged couple. The price per adult is 6,800 yen including breakfast and dinner, 5,000 yen for breakfast only, and 4,500 yen for lodging only. For dinner, we cook nabe in irori. There is also a pizza experience, which costs 1,500 yen per person. On the day that Typhoon No. 24 arrived, I felt relieved to stay in this place that had endured strong rain and wind for a long time. I have 4 dogs and a small, pretty bird. There is also a cat. If you like animals, you will likely have a happy stay here. Checked in late and checked out early. Although it was a short time, I would like to thank the couple for making happy memories.
