A campsite on the riverbed in Nogata City. There is no charge, but advance reservations are required. Currently, the system is for users to register and make reservations on their own internet reservation site. On weekdays, you can rent an entrance key and faucet lever at the City Planning Department on the 4th floor of City Hall, or at the security room on the 1st floor when the office is closed. The site has a parking space and a lawn area where you can pitch a tent next to your car.Since it's on a riverbed, it feels like you can camp in an open space. The problem is the toilet. Since it is on a riverbed, the water level will rise during heavy rains, so it would be nice to have temporary toilets, but I would like them to have Western-style toilets if possible.

(Updated on July 23rd)From September, there will be a charge for use of the campsite.https://camp.usao.today/archives/4686(Updated on December 1st)Regarding campsite usage, reservations have been changed to online reservations.https://nogata-camp.info/This is a campsite with a police station nearby. There is a river flowing next door and the scenery is beautiful. A portable toilet is installed. There are no shower facilities, so I felt it was necessary to take measures to prevent sweat, such as sweat wipes, when using the facility in the summer. At the campsite, you park your car and set up a tent next to it, but if you don't get in the way of your neighbors, you can also set up your tent behind the car.To use the campsite, you must apply in advance to Nogata City Hall.

There will be a charge starting September 2, 2020 (Monday). It might be because of annoying campers who make reservations and then don't show up on the day without contacting us to cancel.Or people who reserve multiple sites because it's free. That's sad lol

Visited in March 2024free campsiteMake a reservation by emailPick up the campsite key at number 41 on the 4th floor of City Hall.*Because the use was from Friday to the following Saturday, the return was at the security room at City Hall.Japanese style simple toiletFaucet without drainage equipmentParking space available for cars onlyOther spaces are grassOn this day, it seemed to be mainly used for daytime use, and there were about 3 overnight stays. The next door and the one next to that...were not being used. That's strange...when I made the reservation, I was the last one in the lot.I bought some oysters, but my partner and I couldn't eat them all because they served us well.look aroundNot suitable for people who use charcoalSomehow, it was sold out (*I haven't sold it yet...)The weather was nice and we were able to camp for free. However, since there are fire stations and police stations nearby, I wonder if it would be a concern if they were dispatched. AboutI don't really care, I drink alcoholI was happy to be able to talk to some people who were camping. The users also took their trash home and returned home in the same conditions as when they arrived.I'm sure I was happy to be able to use it for free as is.
