Had a wonderful stay at Aix Cottage! Wayan is an amazing host, taking good care of our needs and provided recommendations to food and activities in Ubud. The place is situated slightly away from Ubud centre but great if you want to be away from the crowd. Highly recommended!

Felt like home away from home. Truly a hidden gem in Ubud and away from the buzzing traffic in ubud center.||Although Ubud center is not too far if you would like to visit. I would highly recommend this place if you plan on staying in Ubud.||Wayan was super welcoming and so was his family!! Will definitely come back next year!

When we first stumbled upon this traditional Balinese accomodation on Agoda, it seemed almost too good to be true. There must be a catch! But everything was as perfect as it seemed online. Our host, Wayan and his family were the most thoughtful, gracious hosts.He provided us with all the information we needed and showed us around when we arrived. The accommodation was just perfect!The bed was really comfortable, bathroom was really pretty and the room was beautiful and clean. Location is quiet and away from the craziness of Bali which is exactly what we were after.Wayan also had excellent restaurant and must-visit recommendations and was of great help to everything we’ve asked for. He went way beyond to make our entire stay comfortable and memorable.To add to this, Wayan has great communication skills. Whatever we needed, we could simple WhatsApp him, and he would get back to us as soon as possible which was absolutely fabulous!Thank you Wayan and Aix Cottage for a wonderful stay! We cannot fault anything during our stay and would be recommending more of our friends and family to stay with you.We will definitely be back, Shaun and Betty

Aix cottage is run by Wayan and his family and it’s one of the most authentic, beautiful and comfortable places you could hope to stay. The service and hospitality is the best I have experienced. We enjoyed the space and the stay thoroughly and would recommend to everyone!

We had the most amazing experience at the Aix Cottage in Ubud! Wayan and his family went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcomed. The cottage is very spacey and really well decorated and equipped (the bathroom is amazing!) We were welcomed with a refreshing coconut 🥥 which was so good after a long trip.There are a lot of really good restaurants and Warungs around and Ubud is not far away (by gojek or grab).We were very sad to leave the Aix Cottage and are sure that we will come back again!Thank you Wayan!We also booked a trip with Wayan‘s Uncle Nyoman and had an amazing experience as well! Nyoman is very kind and welcoming. He explained a lot about the Bali culture and religion and also drove us wherever we wanted to go.We would highly recommend booking a trip with him! 🌴

This was by far the best experience I ever had when booking an apartment whether in Airbnb or any other platform.Wayan (AIX) is such a nice host. His apartment has everything you need and the bathroom is truly insane. The garden is beautiful and the view into the jungle is like you would imagine.Breakfast is cheap and delicious.If you are looking for an apartment close to Ubud book Aix Cottage.Ps: the drone picture shows the apartments. They are located at the palm-trees in the bottom. The rest you can see there is where his family lives.

We had an incredible time at Wayans’ place. If you are looking for a getaway from hustle and bustle of city and to disconnect from the routine errands of life, this is the perfect place! I have not come across many folks in hospitality space who are as service oriented, accommodative, helpful, kind and ever smiling personality as Wayan(Aix). You’d feel right at home in his company and not to mention how lovely his entire family is! Food served were whole some, healthy and in generous portion! If you are looking for an authentic Balinese experience during your time in Ubud, this is the place to be! Last but certainly not the least, the bathroom at his cottage is easily the best I have seen in similar cottages! Aix, we are extremely grateful for your service, hospitality and kindness! Aix Cottage was one of my most favourite authentic home stays in Bali. We got to experience what it feels like to live in an actual Balinese home with the family.Our host Wayan is undoubtedly one of the most hospitable people in all of Bali. He went out of his way to make sure we really felt at home. He has a wonderful family right from his brother to his great grandmother all of them are very friendly.In terms of location, it’s about 4 km from the centre of Ubud but is quite access via Gojek. The cottage is tucked inside & surrounded by lush greenery. The specs of everything that Wayan has used to make the cottage is top of the line. The highlight of the cottage has to be the restroom. The open to sky shower with the vertical garden is really beautiful.When you leave from here, you’ll surely leave feeling that you have a home & family in Bali.

This is such a great accommodation. You can see why it scores so high. The moment you enter the gate, it feels like a different, cozy world unfolds. It was nice to be welcomed with a welcome drink and fresh fruits. The kindness makes me smile.You can feel the feeling of truly belonging to Indonesia, which is difficult to feel at ordinary hotels and resorts. Looking at the fully prepared amenities and kitchen, you can feel how neat the host is.Moreover, you can see his good sense by looking at the places he recommends.Above all, the breakfast and fresh fruit juice prepared by his mother are more delicious than those at restaurants.If I come to Ubud again, I will definitely come here.

An amazing place, wonderful people! I feel like I've come to my grandmother's village for the summer. Very comfortable bed, perfect cleanliness. Wayan cleaned the villa several times a day and carefully packed our things. There is no such service even in 5-star hotels. And of course, an excellent open-air bathroom. My son and I bathed several times a day. Thanks to the AIX cottage family for a wonderful weekend!
