I think most of the staff at hotels in the countryside are hired locally, but here I felt that they were probably young people hired from all over the country and had undergone uniform training. So, although my experience level was relatively low, I felt motivated, and the service, for better or worse, was uniform and controlled. The bath in the room was a little weird, but the large public bath was good. The view from the room was also good. Food may not be cost-effective. (I'm not saying you should use more.) What I would like to see improved is that for some reason my loungewear had a strange smell even before I put it on. Also, rubber zori sandals are very heavy, making them difficult to walk in and causing pain in the thong area. Since it was quite a distance from the public bath, I thought it would be better to wear light slippers. Next, the two types of green tea prepared in the lobby were very delicious, but unfortunately the coffee made with the coffee machine was worse than convenience store coffee, no, even less than instant coffee. Either the machine is bad, the beans are bad, or maybe it's both... Green Tea introduces its varieties in pop-ups and is so particular about what it offers, so why cut corners with the coffee right next door? I wonder if it is. The coffee is also roasted locally. We should also do coffee, even if it's just one type of green tea, such as how long it takes to extract cold water from underground water. The point is, I just want to drink delicious coffee that won't lower the hotel's quality.

The hospitality from check-in to check-out was very good, and since it is about an hour's drive from Kagoshima, it is a great place to stay for a day if you are planning to visit Kagoshima. The scenery is very beautiful, mainly with the Sakurajima volcano, and the rooms are clean and spacious. Dinner and breakfast are served in individual private rooms with friendly explanations and service from the staff. The long-awaited open-air hot springs allow you to heal with the feeling of becoming one with nature! The hot spring is a little smaller than expected, but since there are few users, you can enjoy it leisurely! The price is reasonable with the 90-day discount promotion! I recommend it with the intention of visiting again in the winter!(Korean service is still poor, but it is gradually improving, and English and Japanese are available.)

Quiet location, open-air open-air bath, view from the room, just the right amount of room, comfortable mattress, and friendly staff. There were many wonderful things. I kept thinking to myself, ``This is a great place.''But the food was terrible. It seems that staying 3 nights was a mistake. There are probably only two basic patterns available. It seems like they managed to squeeze out a third pattern for adults (but it's terrible. On the first day, it's a kaiseki meal where you don't know what the main dish is. The sashimi doesn't change every day.), but for children, there are only two patterns. I was told that the menu was standardized at all KAI facilities across the country, and that there was nothing more I could do about it. In the end, there wasn't much of a difference between the two days for the children, but on the third night they ended up having exactly the same food as on the first day.Dinner was terrible and breakfast was really poor. The vegetables are only vegetables with satsuma soup and a small bowl. The eggs are fried like they came out of the pouch every day. It was a really boring and disappointing breakfast. Ah, but I guess it would have been better for 2 nights. Breakfast on the last day was chicken rice. Please see the attached photo. Breakfast on the 1st and 2nd day. It's like looking for mistakes.Only the food is really bad. I sincerely regret staying for 3 nights. Maximum stay is 2 nights, recommended for those who don't care about children's meals.

The scenery is quite nice, but I think it depends on the weather. I was impressed by the view from all the windows. I also wanted to experience the sunrise in the morning, so I slept without closing the curtains all night.Because there is also a window on the east side, this room is likely to get hotter than expected in the summer.

The day I went was clear and sunny, and I was able to see not only Sakurajima but also the beautiful cone-shaped Mt. Kaimondake in the distance. I'm impressed that it's so rare.

This was the third Hoshino Resort I stayed at. The room and view were nice, but everything else was not good and it was a disappointing stay. In particular, the staff's response was poor, so I would recommend another ryokan for the same price.(Used in September, cost 30,000 to 40,000 yen/person)・There was not much explanation inside the building, so please just go to your room without permission.- Felt cramped due to single bed・Amenities are cheap・Can I buy tea and sweets? Just one piece and tea・Even though there is a coffee cup, there is no coffee in the room.-There is only one mirror in the bathroom- Too inconvenient as there are no pockets on loungewear or jackets・I didn't know what flavor the free ice candy in the after-bath area was because there was no label on the flavor (I thought it was chocolate, but it turned out to be cola flavor).・The hot spring water installed in the hot spring was designed to come out at room temperature and cold water, but the cold water was written like an ice symbol, so I thought ice would come out.・There were four hair dryers in the women's bath, but there were not enough hair dryers.-There is only one sink in the men's bath. Two old dryers were covered in dust. You should give up on drying your hair in the bathroom.・A man waits for the cable car with wet hair and travels a long distance to his room. It must be really cold in winter (I think it would be the worst if it rained)・The rice is delicious, but the quantity is small. Not enough (After dinner, I bought some sweets at the store and ate them. However, the store is very small)・Shimeno soba noodles are delivered with flour still on them. I boil it myself and eat it as is, so it's sticky and not tasty (there isn't enough boiling water).・Even though there are a lot of staff, the food is not brought out very often. I couldn't even call the staff to order a drink (at other Hoshino resorts, there was a staff member standing there who was always looking at me, so I was able to deal with it stress-free).・Even though I was still eating, I started putting down the empty plates, and even things that I still needed, such as condiments and astragalus, were put away (no confirmation).- Breakfast was on time, but I had to wait more than 10 minutes for the first cup of tea. However, the quantity was good and it was delicious.Anyway, the view was great, but I don't think I'll use it again.
