I went in search of a secret hot spring.Since I was going for an outdoor bath, I didn't have to make any inquiries over the phone. But, unfortunately, there was a sign saying that the store was temporarily closed. When I called them, they said, ``The phone line has been disconnected due to the customer's convenience.'' 😱When I asked a local who happened to pass by, I found out that it had been closed for a while. Sorry…. That's what he said. It was really disappointing 😭 Everyone, please be careful. December 2013

I stayed there a while ago and it left a very good impression. However, there is a clear division between good and bad reviews on Google. As for the food, when I went there, there was an unprecedented amount of sashimi and a huge variety of items.I'm a big eater, but as expected, I couldn't finish all the food, so it was a waste. It happened. However, other people's reviews say that it might not be enough, so I think it varies greatly depending on the day.In my impression, the employees didn't notice any inconvenience.Maybe it was just me, or maybe the person complaining in the reviews happened to come across such a situation.Although the bath was small, the quality of the spring water was very good and it felt good.I would like to use it again

If it's a holiday, I'd like it to be listed as closed. It's a shame because I drove 70km from Shimanto.

I think the reviews will be divided. Also write down the reason why it is not good. It's in the mountains and the scenery is good. The recommended sake is delicious. They serve local sake from Kochi. The hot springs have a strong smell of sulfur and it's nice to be able to see outside. I think it's a great option if you just want to use the hot springs for a day trip. So far so good. The employees were the worstI was asked if I wanted to take a bath in the morning at a hot spring inn, but when I asked if they had bath towels in the morning, they replied, "No," as if they didn't know where they were. In the end, I ended up having to wait a while because I was the type to book the bathroom with other guests and lock the door. When I returned to the inn and asked about it, I was told to go to the women's bath, but it was locked and there was no boiling water. The key was left unlocked, and due to a misunderstanding by the employee, only the men's bath was turned on. If someone was inside, it would be an incident. Really messed up.Also, each customer doesn't share the same wake-up time and is woken up at 7am.There are pros and cons about rice. It seems like the vegetables they grew themselves or picked from nearby. Although it is gentle on the body, it may not be enough for young people. The food looks luxurious on the website, but when it actually arrived there was a difference. There are some good points, but the bad points stand out even more.

Last time I stopped by for a day trip, I was turned away, so I stayed here as a revenge.Surprisingly, I was completely alone that night.sorry.However, I was very moved by how warmly they welcomed me (even the dog was wagging his tail so much that I could tear it off, thank you) and showed me so much heartfelt hospitality. To the long-awaited hot springs, walk along the path lined with cherry blossoms in full bloom. There are handmade huts along the river, separated by gender. When you open the door, you will be impressed by the gentle scent of sulfur and the wonderful rock bath. You can keep the water in the water until it's lukewarm, but when it gets cold, you can pull the lever and hot water will come out.Dinner is homemade by the landlady. I'm sorry that I couldn't finish all the sushi, sashimi, and hot pot dishes.I can't go to the hot springs because wild animals appear after dark, so I go to bed early (lol)The morning bath was said to be at 7:00, but I was grateful that it was prepared a little earlier.I took my time and enjoyed the gentle taste of the hostess's home-cooked vegetables, which rejuvenated my body.I was able to relax and see the soothing smiles of the people in the room, and the host was also a wonderful person, so I was really glad I stayed there. It's a 2 hour high speed ride, so I'd like to go back for a day trip or stay overnight.Wi-Fi is available on the first floor. The toilet is a washlet.
