I talked about wanting to go to Ouchi-juku with my girlfriend, so I chose Hoshinoi-san, who runs night tours of Ouchi-juku.This choice was very correct, the owner gave us a detailed guide, both she and I were very satisfied, and the story about the constellations was very interesting! !The employees warmly welcomed us and their hospitality was wonderful! It was a truly heartwarming stay. All of the dishes were exquisite, especially the simmered potatoes, which were so delicious that I wanted to go back to eat them again right away! Even more delicious sake! Everything was great! The hot springs are available 24 hours a day, and with the water flowing directly from the source, both my girlfriend and I were able to relax and relieve the stress of everyday life.Warm and heartfelt customer service, food, and hot springs.I'm really glad I was able to stay with Hoshinoi.I'm definitely planning on going with her again soon!

I am a teenage nursing student. This time, we stayed together for my beloved mother's birthday. I wanted to somehow please my mother, who was a woman and raised me alone, so I searched for a nice inn at the maximum cost I could afford, and found this inn. It's the best inn.As the name suggests, the warm hospitality and warm food filled my heart with tender feelings. At night, the two of us talked about various things through tears. Mr. Hoshinoi's sincerity warmed my heart, and I was able to express my gratitude to my mother, which I am unable to express normally.I'm really glad I chose Mr. Hoshinoi as my mother's first trip gift.We will also be staying here for my mother's birthday next year.Thank you very much for your wonderful hospitality.

I started searching for a midway point for sightseeing between Aizu and Nasu, and found a place in Yunokami Onsen that looked good. As the name suggests, the homepage has a heartfelt atmosphere, so I decided to ask Mr. Hoshinoi to help.Due to its location, the road is narrow, but it is possible to pass by Alphard. The people at the hotel didn't just feel like guests, they treated each person with great care and the atmosphere was nice. The room was clean and I was told that it was okay to be sent to a room like this. The food is delicious, caviar from the field? It was so delicious that I could understand why there were repeat customers. The idea is to provide warm food, which is different from the cold meals you get at typical ryokans. Although the bath is not large, it has a nice atmosphere and there is an open-air bath, so I was able to enjoy it to the fullest. I thought they would just take me on a tour of the inn, but they gave me a wide variety of information from inside the bus, and it was enjoyable both on the way there and back, and the person giving the explanations was very knowledgeable. I was just amazed.Since we are from the Kanto region, we won't be able to visit often, but we would like to come back as a repeat customer as soon as possible.

The Hoshinoi Japanese Inn is a premier facility nestled among Yunokami Onsen (Hotsprings) community. Their service, hospitality, meals (breakfast and dinner) accommodations are second to none in this evaluator's opinion. During summer months they have a unique one-of--kind night tour to call out "Hotaru" (fireflies) from among the rice fields. Hoshinoi also offers a unique night tour of the famous Ouchi Village (old authentic thatched roof farm houses) nestled among the Yunokami mountains. And, bring along your Google translator. Our friends from Aizu, who are now living in Mobara, Chiba prefecture, an hour's train ride from metropolitan Tokyo, made this hotsprings referral. It's their favorite family special occasion stop-over. (NOTE: Please visit my "Mobara Station" post to see my Aizu friends, who made the "Yunokamionsen" and "Hoshinoi" Japanese Inn recommendations.)This Yunokami Hotsprings and Hoshinoi Japanese Inn is located high in the southern Aizu mountains in an idyllic setting. There was another surprising, unexpected added plus. The Hoshinoi owner's wife comes from the Aizu Misato Machi Takada community, which we called home during our childhood and young adult life. Before we departed from the Inn, we were treated to pastry and a round of coffee, as a special nod to our mutual Aizu roots. My sisters especially recommended the mountain hide-away and quiet isolated retreat. Afterall, Mom (deceased) they argued, now cremated and resting in her urn and securely stored in my backpack, would welcome and thoroughly enjoy the stop-over.My anxious view was to safely deliver Mom's ashes to the Aizu-Takada-Church, upon immediate arrival in Japan. There her up-coming Interment service was planned for Saturday, August 5th, 2023. It was now August 2nd.What could potentially go wrong with Mom's ashes, I reasoned. I preferred to err on the side of safety. I feared misplacing or even losing her ashes enroute. I insisted on special, direct delivery straight to the Takada Church. My three sisters overruled my good intentions. So, Mom accompanied us to Hoshinois at Yunokami Onsen. In the end, everthing worked out.Hoshinoi's accommodations were wonderful, the hot spring baths were refreshing and relaxing, the meals (dinner and breakfast were delicious and satisfying). I cannot more highly recommend this one-of-a-kind overnight resting spot to you. Please follow my accompanying commentary underlying the snaphots.

Used on May 18, 2024I don't travel often, but I think this is the best I've ever been.It was a warm and satisfying stay thanks to the hard work of the staff.Everything was clean, including the room, bathroom, hallway, and entrance. It's more than the priceI'm really glad I stayed, and my parents were equally happy.Since everyone has posted the photos, I will omit them.
