The rice is really delicious. As long as the ingredients are good, anything you eat will be delicious. That's what I thought, but it made me realize how important cooking skills are.Really different. Particularly delicious were the potatoes and the fish, both of which had crispy skin and crumbly flesh. However, I should say that the accommodation itself is a bit dirty...There are signs of rain leaks, and the cloth is peeling off. The walls of the room are also crumbling. The toilet and bath are shared, and you can clearly see that the owner has no interest in anything other than food. It's something that I can't introduce to everyone.

We were looking forward to it, but it was quite disappointing for us. I don't mind the fact that the building is old, but the hygiene was not good. Meal times were delayed significantly, and there were insufficient explanations and mistakes, which hindered preparations for the climb. Dinner was French cuisine, but the portion was overwhelmingly small, filling only 1/3 of my stomach. The good points are that they spend a lot of money on ingredients and equipment, and the owner is very personable and very kind.

I have stayed here several times, and the chef, who specializes in French cuisine, serves course meals at a reasonable price. It is especially popular with women, and is close to the Grandmother Mountains.

The building has been deliberately left as it was when the owner's grandfather used it.It's very calming. The meals are carefully selected by the owner and prepared with the same ingredients and skill as those found in high-end inns.It was a wonderful place, surrounded by mountains and a stream flowing through it.

I always book and review on Booking.com, so this is my first time using Google, but I'm posting this because the host's hospitality and food were beyond my imagination.First of all, the appearance and interior decoration is like a normal local guesthouse. It has a secluded atmosphere that makes you feel like you have traveled back in time 50 years ago. There is also the bliss of soaking in a small mineral spring. Located at the foot of Mt. Sobo, it's a great location for climbers, and the monument to Hisaya Fukada and shrines connected to Mt. Sobo are also nearby.I was expecting the husband to be an elderly man, as he had trained in a hotel and French restaurant, but he was actually young and friendly. My mother also picked me up at Bungo-Takeda Station on the way home and was a very charming and wonderful person. Thank you very much for that section. The dishes use delicious ingredients from Oita Prefecture, such as local fish and local eggs, and above all, the cooking and seasoning are exquisite. This was the first time I encountered the French-like spirit of serving each dish one by one during my travels to all 46 prefectures. Anyway, all the dishes are delicious! The rice is also delicious! (←This is important) Breakfast was delicious, and both dinner and egg dishes were impressive. The water in the room was also local spring water and had a unique taste. A taste of Japan, a beautiful country. When I think about it now on my way back from Narita Airport, I am embarrassed to say that I am drooling.7,700 yen for 1 night and 2 meals, I had seen it online beforehand, but I felt sorry for the unbelievable hospitality. It was so delicious that I almost regretted eating it all. I am very happy that I was able to find such a famous and unknown hotel on the last day of this trip. Therefore, I would like to express my gratitude and write a review. The hard work of the host was obvious, as he made reservations on Instagram and consulted with us in advance about the schedule and transportation arrangements. I cannot express my gratitude in words, but I would like to express my sincere gratitude.

The hot springs and food were amazing!I think it's rare for a hot spring to be so warm from the core that it's hard to cool down because it's a mineral spring! The bathtub is made of cypress with no sulfur and clear hot springs? Thanks to that, it smelled really good and was great! Then, when it came to the meal, I was told that we would start with appetizers, and for a moment I had no idea what that meant lol.I was able to eat freshly prepared food, and it was wonderful to see how elaborately each dish was made. What particularly impressed me was the béchamel sauce on top of the shiitake mushrooms? A masterpiece sprinkled with Reggiano cheese and baked in the oven.I was surprised that there are such delicious shiitake mushrooms!I also learned about the Oita tradition of adding kabosu to miso soup, and I received a golden kabosu as a souvenir.thank you,,Even in Tokyo, I tried adding shiitake mushrooms with white sauce and kabosu to miso soup! But I still can't get that taste! We had a great time!
