A bed and breakfast that has been around for over 30 years. We were greeted by a kind 88-year-old grandfather. As it is old, it is dirty and not maintained neatly. However, it is not cheap. It seems that reservations are only accepted by phone.

I was very welcoming by the owner and the food was excellent. You have to speak Japanese.

The host's attitude is arrogant. I feel like they're letting me stay the night.Overall smelly and dirty.I stayed in the winter, but there was no air conditioning, only a heater. The heater must be turned off every two hours. The bath is small.

None of the shops in Narai-juku are open, so sightseeing for the shops is not recommended from December to mid-March.There are no TVs in the rooms at the inn, so it's a pain if you don't have something to kill time with. However, the owner of the inn is a nice person. The rice was also delicious.

This may be a good choice for those who are used to traveling as it is a quiet and traditional accommodation, but for those who are not, it may be confusing. The futon was so tight.

This guesthouse is run by the owner who has lived in the area for many years. We don't take large groups, but the food is great, with a wide variety of local ingredients. We recommend taking a bath at a nearby hot spring.
