I stayed at a capsule hotel. It was very clean and I felt safe using it. There was no problem with the air conditioning either. One thing that really bothered me was the alarm sound. The door to my hotel room has a password lock, but what if it doesn't close properly? There is a buzzer sound, but it is incredibly loud. People who appeared to be students came in and out late at night, making a lot of noise and setting off alarms, so it was a pain to be able to sleep without earplugs. Since it's a capsule hotel, it's acceptable for some people to be noisy, but something should be done about that alarm. It is unclear whether that alarm functions as a security measure.I appreciate that there is a smoking area nearby. Please do something about the alarm sound, which I have never experienced at other facilities.

It was my first time in Kochi on a business trip alone. It was a six-person room for women only, and I was nervous, wondering what other people would be there. My check-in time was around 10pm, so I called in advance and they sent me the room and shower room numbers, so I was able to check in smoothly. When I entered the room, there were two women who were also there on a business trip, and they were drinking beer while eating a meal they had simply prepared in the kitchen, so the three of us had a nice conversation for a while. It was my first experience like this, and what turned out to be a lonely business trip turned into an unforgettable memory. In the morning, we had breakfast at the bar downstairs. A local old lady was there, and I was impressed by how friendly she seemed to be speaking with the staff in the local language. If I ever come to Kochi again, I would like to stay here.

The staff are beautiful and friendly. She sent a meg for me to remind the closing time is 8 pm. The room are large and clean. There are two washing machine and two every layer although I haven’t use. It is too near the JR station and walk 10mins. It has a large supermarket and Lawson near the hostel. The price is very cheap. If I come, I will stay again.

Used in 2024 Golden Week. In conclusion, I cannot recommend it to those who want to enjoy the interaction of a guest house. At check-in, the gentleman at the front desk gave me a verbal guide to the hotel, but the numeric keypad in the room was incorrect, so I had to go up and down the stairs to the third floor with the staff. (Normally, only the front desk staff will be available and they will not guide you to your room.) I was told that it would cost 800 yen to use the parking lot for a motorcycle. (You can park up to 50cc bicycles for free at the nearby Otemon underground bicycle parking lot. Please do your best.) The cafe space was empty and brightly lit with electricity. The owner is absent. Staff is not available after 8pm. It used to be a student dormitory. The interior has been renovated and doesn't feel unclean. I didn't talk to anyone except for checking in. Considering the price, Bijiho is better.

Seems like a new hostel to me, i'm not too sure when is the official open, but I was observing their wall paints and pipings, they all look clean and no stains for me. The toilets and washrooms are clean too. Walking a pilgrimage in Shikoku and in between temple 30 and 31 doesn't have much accommodations so i have to take a bus into Kochi city, this is one of the nearest and cheapest hostel. Female staff over the counter speak good enough english to communicate, didn't get to interact much becos i was to stay only for a night. Laundry for 300 and dryer for 100 yen if I remember correctly. Didn't get to eat the free breakfast becos i check out on a Sunday. No keys to return is just passcode to access doors and washrooms so it is very safe for mixed dorms.

This is my fateful hostel. It wasn't a movie-like encounter. When I revisited the place the other day, the memories from two months ago came back to me and I burst into tears on the bench outside.EN is well said.I hope that you all have a good relationship. It doesn't have the conveniences of other hostels. It may be that human beings naturally become more excited about conversation when this happens. You talked a little too much.I will not let you stay again.

One of the most disappointing hostels I've stayed in. It looked cute in the photos and the idea is cool, but very poorly executed in general. First, there is no elevator. Second, there are not showers on all floors. The ones above are on a kind of outdoor terrace, I don't even want to imagine it in winter. The lights do not turn off automatically and were on all night. The beds make a lot of noise. The mattress was so thin that it looked like a thick blanket and it was like sleeping on wood. On top of that, they ask you to remove the sheets and so on in the morning. I got up early and I imagine that my roommates wouldn't be very happy with the noise. The girls at the reception were lovely and the location is very good, but that's it. At least it wasn't expensive and it was clean, but like everything in Japan. I don't recommend it.

There is no elevator, so you have to carry large luggage upstairs. There is no water dispenser. You need to go to the cabin with a refrigerator on the 2nd floor (or 3rd floor?) to find an electric kettle to make hot water. The shared facilities are not very clean. I stayed on the 4th floor but was told that I need to go to 3rd floor. When washing in the upstairs bathroom, rainwater will splash on the walkway passing by. It has to be exposed to rain and wind. There are few shower rooms and the space is extremely small. It is not even wide enough to put your hands flat on the back of your head. The water temperature is unstable. There is no place to escape when the temperature is not suitable. Pay special attention to hitting the wall while washing. The bunks in the room are made of simple wooden boards and the width of the bed ladder is very small. You have to be careful when getting out of the bed, otherwise you will easily fall. The sound insulation is very poor. The lounge on the first floor closes very early.

I had to take the stairs to the 4th floor with my suitcase (´;ω;`)Recommended for people who don't mind some noise and just want to sleep.
