One night stay from 2024-09-07.Since it is in the form of a youth hostel, it is assumed that it will not have the same services as a guesthouse or hotel.Taking this into account, I can only say that I am grateful for the fact that they are offering such low prices amidst the soaring price of lodging. The room can only be locked on the inside (simple), not on the outside. Japanese-style room. There is a set of futons, and sheets are provided each time, so there is no problem at all when sleeping.Air conditioned and wireless LAN available. You can drink coffee and tea for free. There is also a bathroom, shower, and a common area for communication, which is typical of youth hostels.I was able to stay there with a nostalgic feeling of living in my parents' home, with a Showa-style atmosphere and building construction period. There is a COOP nearby, a bathing facility run by the local government, a vending machine from a local company selling cheap drinks starting at 100 yen next to the building, and a liquor store run by the owner, although I wasn't able to use it myself. If you feel like it, you can (don't) drink alcohol in your room and have a good time (but not too much), so you'll be perfectly prepared for battle. Also, since the cost is low, you can use the money you save to buy local sake from Aizu (naturally, it can only be bought in this area), so you can buy it as a souvenir.Although it is located far from Aizuwakamatsu, Kitakata can be reached in just 10 minutes by car or motorcycle. It looks like it could be used as a base for a ramen tour. It might also be a good base for bike touring around Lake Inawashiro.(However, motorcycles will be parked without a roof. Motorcycle covers are required)I can recommend it to anyone who can properly understand that it is a youth hostel.Let's explore Fukushima from here.

I chose this because I wanted to eat Kitakata ramen for dinner that day and wanted to go to Ouchi-juku the next morning. It's been a while since I've been to YH (I used to be a member), but I feel like this is the atmosphere of an old folk YH. Local tourist pamphlets are available at the liquor store and front desk. There were no other guests staying, we could occupy the small refrigerator in the meeting room, there was a supermarket nearby, we could buy sushi with a discount sticker in the evening, we could walk to the hot spring facility, and the accommodation cost was in the hundreds. It was about the same age as the youth. During the night, I could clearly hear the sound of the boiler running intermittently, and I wondered if they were providing hot water 24 hours a day, even in such hot weather.

Used on motorcycle trips. It was a comfortable private room with air conditioning. The parking lot is blue.Within a 10-minute walk, there is a public bath that costs ¥200, a restaurant open until 8:00 p.m., a convenience store, and a drug store.I bought some Japanese sake at the main liquor store and enjoyed it deliciously in my room.

There are 4 rooms, 3 rooms have air conditioners and the remaining rooms only have fans. Currently, there is only one person in one room, so it can be used widely. You can feel the Showa era.

Originally, liquor stores were the main focus of this youth service, which may have been different in the past, but I feel like they aren't putting much effort into it at the moment. No cooler. It was 3200 yen for a room without meals. The toilet is Japanese style. It is easy to mistake the location of the parking lot on the map, but it is next to the liquor store. It doesn't bother me, but there is a grave next to the garden.

The location is a short drive from Kitakata (although it is hard to say that it is close).Room → Completely old, outdated, cannot be locked from inside. It was announced that the cooler was broken. There is a convenience store and a hot spring nearby, but it takes more than 10 minutes to get to both (are these close or far?)Overall, if it costs ¥3,800 for a room without meals, even if it's a bit more expensive, it would be better (safe, secure, clean) to approach another facility (minshuku, hotel, inn, etc.).🦅I won't go there again.

I stayed here for the first time in 42 years😅The nearest station is Shiokawa near Kitakata. Meals are not provided at this time, but there is a convenience store nearby. There is also a hot spring nearby that costs 200 yen. Currently, due to the coronavirus pandemic, I am alone in each room, so it may be difficult to make a reservation.
