I stayed for several nights, but the same dishes were not available for both breakfast and dinner. For rice, I was able to enjoy seasonal chestnut rice starting in the morning.The landlady suggested that I prepare something soft for my elderly mother, and when I asked for it, she not only had something soft, but the grilled fish had been shredded into small pieces, and the natto and tomatoes had been chopped into small bite-sized pieces.I was surprised and very impressed by the high level of hospitality.The hot spring was also a quaint family bath where I could relax and relax.This is an inn I would definitely like to stay at again.

The next day I was traveling from Fukuoka to Sasebo, so I used Futsukaichi Onsen, which is near the express bus stop. 10 minutes walk from JR Futsukaichi.I was able to make a reservation for this Matsubara Ryokan, so I decided to try it out.When you pass through the door, you will be transported back to the Showa era. When I opened the sliding door that was shown to me and entered the room, I found a futon in a large room. You can instantly relieve the stress of work.There are two hot springs, and I was asked to use the vacant one, so when I opened the sliding door, I found a large bathroom with plenty of hot spring water flowing directly into it. It is the ultimate in luxury. Soaking in the hot water while looking out at the inner garden will instantly relieve your fatigue.This inn is a place where you can relax your mind and body, away from the hustle and bustle of Fukuoka. I'm very satisfied. It is fully air conditioned and has good WiFi.There are no convenience stores nearby, so it's a must to buy drinks on the way, but I made do with a pot of tea, and it was the first time in a while that I didn't drink alcohol.The great thing about this inn is that you can still feel free. We will use you again.

It probably depends on availability, but when I stayed there, I was shown to a large room that was like 2 rooms combined. There are two indoor baths with soft hot water from Futsukaichi Onsen flowing gently over them. There was no drop-in, and only hotel guests were allowed to use it, so we had almost exclusive access to it.

A nostalgic retro inn. 10-15 minutes walk from JR Futsukaichi Station. As you walk down the main street of Futsukaichi Onsen, looking at Hakatayu and Gozenyu on both sides, go straight along the road and it will be on your left.The entrance was also elegant, and the landlady showed me to my room, but I went up to the second floor, walked down the hallway, and found ``Ume.'' The toilet is shared, but is there a dirt floor at the entrance of the room? There are stones that press pressure points and it feels good. Main room with 6 tatami mats, tokonoma (TV and tea set), Japanese table and chairs with legs. The shoji screens with snow windows and the windows facing the garden are filled with fresh greenery, making you feel at ease. Of course, there is also a mini table and rattan chairs. The wind feels nice.A quiet moment passes.
