This is an old-fashioned hot spring inn located along the river. It may be good for people who want to take it easy. However, the place to eat is at the main building's Kaiou-tei, so it may be a little inconvenient. The food is very luxurious and delicious, so you may be satisfied with that.

The facility is old and the stairs are steep, but the hot springs and food are not enough for a 5 star rating. The somen noodles served with sea bream soup are incredibly delicious, so you should definitely try them❗

The signboard is true! This is an inn with hot springs and cuisine. The free-flowing Shimoda Onsen source and the soft quality of the spring water will soothe the fatigue of your travels. The food was so delicious that we couldn't finish it all, and each dish had a particular taste, and even my 8-year-old son, who usually only eats children's lunches, ate all the adult dishes and it was delicious! It's delicious♫The staff are also kind and considerate. The building resembles a Showa era apartment building, but the children seemed to enjoy the atmosphere that is not found in their daily lives. If you are looking for interior atmosphere and amenities, the sister restaurant Yume Hotaru seems to be recommended. If price, food, and hot springs are important to you, Fukumatsu is ⭐️5 stars.*One plate of sashimi in the photo was added in advance. In the morning, I bought a Sabiki set at a nearby fishing gear store that is open from 6:30am, and went fishing with my kids at a nearby dock that the store owner told me about. We caught about 20 horse mackerel. No honor in the signboard! It is a hot spring and cooked inn.Shimoda Hot Spring sourcing and soft fountain quality will heal the tiredness of the trip.Eight-year-old son who usually only eats kids' lunch for eating delicious cuisine with taste preference for each dish as much as we can not eat is also delicious, eating only adult cuisine! Delicious and ♫Even the staff members have gentle worries. The building is an apartment style in the Showa era, but children seem to have enjoyed the atmosphere not in normal life.If the atmosphere of the interior and importance of the amenity is important, it seems that the dream fireflies of sister shops are recommended.Price and cooking, if you place importance on hot springs, Mr. Fukumatsu is※ We add one dish to the sashimi in advance. In the morning, I bought a Sabiki set at a neighborhood fishing shop opened from 6:30, and enjoyed fishing with as many as twenty fishing with children at a nearby dockside where the shopkeeper taught me.

Although the building is old, it is kept well-maintained and I have no complaints. Anyway, it's cheap, the food is good, and you can use the open-air bath in the annex with a nice atmosphere, so I think it's a good value for money. At first glance, it looks like an empty countryside, but there are shops in the area, so you can buy beer and snacks after soaking in the open-air bath in the annex. There is also a fish shop, so fresh sashimi is also sold. Since everything is available around here, there is no need to bring a cooler with you in advance.

During the Obon period, “this is the only place open”…Is it okay to visit this time of year? That's what I thought, but it's absolutely the best! Hot springs are free flowing! There are so many delicious fish out there! This is a guesthouse that I would like to recommend.
