(2024/07/3 ㈬) On the morning of July 3, 2020, I left the main temple entrance on the east side across the road, went up the moss-covered stairs in front, entered the gate in front of the warehouse, and washed my hands. Walking around the place, I went to the verandah of the repository, where the principal image, the ``Mini-cheer of the statue of Aizen Myoo'', was being sold as a gift. I declined the statue this time because we couldn't agree on the price, but I was able to offer the goshuin of the principal image in the goshuin book I brought with me, as well as three soegoma sticks for the morning ritual. Below is the receipt for Kongo Sanmai-in.Chart: 32,000 yen (accommodation fee + other fees)Right donation of wealth and donation of donations to Shoji TempleJuly 2, 2020Koyasan Bekkoku HonzanKongo Sanmai-in TempleButlerOkidenAs mentioned above, during the check-out process, I took pictures of the precincts from the main temple from the front of the kuri with a camera. The sounds of birds echoing through the quiet house at the watering area, the sound of water falling from the bamboo gutter at the watering area, and the sound of wind chimes hanging from the eaves made it seem like a relaxing time...This will be my second stay at the Shukubo of Kongo Zanmai-in, but before this visit, I had been away for about 10 years.I felt that 10 years now is equivalent to two years ago during this lodging experience.Inside the dilapidated temple premises, there was a ban on access due to water leaks in the lifeline passage connecting the main temple and the temple.Additionally, the roof of the sutra storehouse was damaged due to recent wind disasters. Also, during this period, I believe that the inn was unable to open due to the outbreak of an unprecedented epidemic (corona virus, etc.), but after enduring this difficult period, the coronavirus pandemic has finally subsided since last year. Expectations are high for a resumption of overseas inbound demand, and with the further depreciation of the yen, inbound tourism is flourishing, and the whole mountain is filled with vibrancy and the sound of foreign languages. Not only Daishi-san but everyone involved with the mountain must be relieved and happy about this.Namu Daishi Hensho Kongo GasshoNow, talking about my private life, I stayed at Toyama Shukubo for one night on September 28, 2014, by myself. At this time, I prayed to the 88 temples of Shikoku, so I followed the custom of pilgrimage and went to pay my respects to the Daishi of Mt. Koya.At this time, I left a business hotel in the city early, took a ferry from Tokushima Port, crossed the Kishu Sea, and landed at Wakayama Port. I hit Mt. Kongoho, the 3rd (Kinokuni) Fuyuzan, Kokawa Temple, stayed the night before at Toyo Coin in Hashimoto City (July 27, 2014), and entered Mt. Koya in a pure state. The itinerary for July 28th is Hashimoto➡Daimon➡Danjo Garan➡Okunoin➡Kongobuji Temple➡Kongo Zanmaiin Temple and lodging. At this time, I was on a pilgrimage through Kochi Prefecture, and along the way I was introduced to Kongo Sanmai-in Temple by the deputy chief priest of Muryozan Kannon-ji Temple, a three-chestnut temple in Susaki City, Kochi Prefecture, and I was introduced to Kongo Zanmai-in Temple by bringing a business card with me. Did. At this time, I called when I arrived at the inn, and when I arrived, I was greeted by a young monk who took me to the prefectural road to visit the temple, and I remember being very humbled. My first experience of staying at a lodging in Mt. Koya was a very valuable experience in my life, and I remember that I had great feelings and expectations at that time. Beforehand, we asked for a memorial service for our ancestors, and in the evening we tried copying sutras. However, it was autumn, and I remember it being cold even with the provided doTERRA.Dinner was the customary Shojin Ryori (four-course meal) served in the room.I have posted the details in the photo below, but the hospitality at Toji Temple was the best. (The season was autumn, so of course I had the matsutake koya tofu, steamed matsutake mushrooms in clay pots, hot pot, and the Hannya hot water, which made me feel good and quenched my thirst.) It was a great night at the lodging. When I was planning this time, I had told my wife that I was very satisfied with the fourth meal until dessert, so the actual meal was in a small cafeteria and was vegetarian cuisine until the second meal, so I had high expectations. I was very disappointed that my wife was so disappointed when she went to the hospital. The room also felt smaller than the last room!We dedicated three gomagaki trees for the morning service, but unlike last time, there was no gomadaki at Aizendo, and there was only a service in the main hall, and the participants were my wife and I and an inbound Asian foreigner. There were a total of three people, the husband and wife. Also, during the monk's morning service, I only went to pray to the main image of the Buddha, Aizen Myoo, so I felt even more disappointed.I regret that this time's lodging reservation was a failure. My communication with Ms. Terako via direct phone call from my cell phone was not good and I didn't have enough confirmation, so next time I would like to make a reservation online. Also, last time, at an evening event, I talked about copying sutras, but my wife declined this time, saying she wasn't interested.Last time, compared to the number of guests staying at the hotel, the temple was struggling to make ends meet in terms of labor costs for a couple of inbound diplomats. I don't know, but somehow I felt sorry that I had made my wife go through a lonely lodging experience.I regret it, but in today's world, luxury may be a taboo word! ? hey! !Perhaps due to the effects of wars in the Middle East and elsewhere, the cost of ingredients and cooking has skyrocketed due to the soaring price of fossil fuels, and the cost of repairing damage from natural disasters has increased due to repeated coronavirus pandemics and the management of temples and shrines, as well as historical heritage. It must be a headache to figure out how to maintain it.I have renewed my desire to cooperate as much as possible to preserve and preserve world heritage sites for future generations.Join hands! !

A long time ago, I used it when I stopped at a lodging in Mt. Koya. I had a delicious vegetarian meal in the evening. The room was clean and I was able to sleep peacefully. Guests will also be responsible for morning duties. All guests recite the Heart Sutra. After that, it's breakfast. By the way, regarding morning duties, this shukubo starts at 6am. Some lodgings open in the evening.

This is the Shukubo of Kongo Zanmai-in Temple. If you take a bus from Koyasan Station, you will get to the Senjuinbashi bus stop, which is about a 7-10 minute walk, but it is a continuous slope. There is a Tahoto pagoda, a national treasure, in Kongo Zanmai-in Temple. Built by Masako Hojo, it is the oldest existing building on Mt. Koya. Please come and visit us.The sacred trees are also magnificent. Those staying overnight can also visit the main image of Aizen Myoo. There is no such thing as a lodging house with a national treasure. Please take advantage of it.

The vegetarian cuisine at night was satisfying and delicious. After the meal, I copied some sutras to calm myself down, and after getting rid of my evil thoughts, I fell asleep, so I was able to sleep soundly. My morning duties were fresh and I started the day with a fresh feeling. It was a very calm and quiet place that I would definitely like to visit again.

When I visited the temple before, I found it to be a very nice temple and it had a great atmosphere, so I fell in love with it, so I decided to stay there this time.Perhaps the monk who treated me politely the last time I came was gone, but the person who came to help me this time was very businesslike, for better or for worse. They don't seem to talk about anything other than what's necessary, and they don't have much hospitality, but I guess that's what it's like since it's a lodging lodge. That's what it feels like. The rooms are fully air-conditioned and have sufficient Wi-Fi, and the courtyard is small, so it feels smaller than other lodgings. Some people may be concerned about the lobby area being a smoking area. The bath smelled very nice, probably because it was made of cypress! It was good! And the rice was delicious! Breakfast was simpler than other lodgings, but dinner was delicious. Looking at other people's photos, it looks quite different depending on the season, and it seems like you can enjoy it no matter how many times you go.If you stay overnight, you can participate in the morning service and see the main image of Aizen Myoo. This was really good! It is no exaggeration to say that I stayed there for this reason. I was really impressed.Things to be careful about include dinner time and check-out time. Each meal is served within an hour, and check-out time is only one hour, but some reservation sites don't mention these things, so I thought I should be careful. If you are interested, please feel free to contact us directly before making a reservation. The garden on the property where the main hall is located is also very beautiful, and depending on the season, beautiful flowers bloom, making it a truly wonderful place. A personal power spot! This is a lodging that I would definitely like to stay at when I go to Mt. Koya.thank you very much!

I went there for work, and the people at the post station were very polite and guided me around 💁However, since I went by large bus, the roads were narrow and difficult (lol)
