I was there in 2015 and I have the best memories of my trip to Japan. I cannot forget their amazing hospitality, the dinner we had together and Narako’s availability to drive us to local lovely places such as Nachi. How to forget the location and the frogs croaking in the rice fields surrounding the farm!

It's been over a year since I've used it. They are kind people. It gave me so many memories that I still remember it to this day. I would like to see more private lodging options like this.

I had an excellent experience with this guesthouse during my trip around Mie and Wakayama. It's a small but cozy side building to the owners' house, clean and well-equipped. It had all the basic stuff one expects - I did my laundry there, and there was even some complimentary bread to toast and some bottled water. The location is quiet at night and not too far from Shingu's cool shrines and temples. There is a convenience store quite close by.The lady who did most of the communication with me was great. In retrospect I was a pretty obnoxious guest, so she's very patient and kind. She repeated herself however many times necessary (my Japanese is poor), and she helped me form travel plans and even book another guesthouse later in my trip.I would definitely stay here again or recommend it. I was quite comfortable, and the price was right, too.

This is a farmhouse inn in Kiho town (just east of Shingu, on the border between Wakayama and Mie prefectures). To begin with, I had never used a farm inn before, and there was little information about Kiho Town, so it was a random visit, not knowing if it was in Mie or Wakayama. This is my second time in Kumano, but Kihocho was completely unmarked last time. This time, I happened to catch some information about this inn and decided to use it as a base for exploring around the area for 2 nights and 3 days. The countryside spreads out in front of the inn. It seems that this is Mizuta, the husband and wife of the inn. He has also grown other crops, but the monkeys come and destroy them and it takes a lot of work. The location of the inn is quiet, just one street away from the main road into a rural area. There is a convenience store within a 15 minute walk. If you take the bypass from the convenience store, you can get to the center of Shingu in 10 minutes by car. It is a valuable location where you can easily enjoy a very slow life. From here, you can visit Kumano Sanzan, ancient roads, Taiji's whales, Shionomisaki, castle ruins, and hot springs. Even if you don't have enough legs, they seem to be able to rent bicycles and rent a car with a partner shop, so you can enjoy a never-ending day in an empty village. However, if you're going to stay here, it's best to set aside a day or two to do nothing and then return home after experiencing the mysterious ancient ruins, ritual shrines, traditional culture, air and water within the village of Jinnai. It feels like a luxury.I'm thinking of doing that next time I stay there.Information about the accommodation. Equipped with a spacious room and amenities such as soap and towels. washing machine. Can be used for simple cooking such as oven and tableware. Free tea and coffee in the pot. Since it is a farm guesthouse, it is not possible to provide meals in the style of ``ordering food from a restaurant,'' so I think it is best to consult directly with the landlady in advance. If you ask me anything, I'm sure they'll do whatever they can to help. The greatest appeal of this inn is the hospitality we provide to everyone who loves and visits the local area.let's! Slow life!
