I used it as a layover while traveling to Golden Week.I didn't have high expectations, but the customer service was excellent and everything was done by myself, so it was strange. I felt relaxed.It seems that it was originally in demand by skiers, and although there is nothing special nearby, it is perfect for a short break.However, since the price is low, the amenities are minimal. It is better to just bring a towel.By the way, the bath is not a hot spring, but it is a little hot and warms up well.Also, the vending machines inside the building are not in operation, so you will need to bring your own drinks and snacks.We recommend purchasing ice-cold bottled beer at the reception desk.We had a breakfast-only plan, but the meals didn't feel like they were cutting corners at all, and it seemed like everyone in the family ate too much.It's an inn that says, ``There's nothing there, but you'll want to come back again.''

I used a plan that included dinner and breakfast. First of all, the rice is delicious! You can get many refills with just the rice. There were plenty of side dishes, and the stewed flounder and hamburger steak were especially delicious.The owner was friendly and fun to talk to. The facilities are old and the bath and toilet are shared, so it's a ☆-1.

Last year, I visited by bicycle from Kanagawa Prefecture during Golden Week. Although I was a little scolded for the inconvenience of arriving much later than planned, they welcomed me warmly😆The rice balls were delicious! There was a beer vending machine.The amount of small bowls I had for breakfast made my day on the trip feel great ☀️If I go to Uonuma in Niigata, I want to go again once the coronavirus has subsided!

It can't be helped because the price is low, but the facility is very old. It was not convenient to use the shared toilet or bathroom. There are also no amenities available. As for the rice, as others have written, there are many choices and you can eat country cuisine. It's family-run, and everyone is friendly and easy to talk to.

As expected from Niigata, the rice is delicious!There are many side dishes and you will be satisfied.Chateau Shiozawa Ski Resort is right nearby. The shopping street at Shiozawa Station has an Edo-style feel.

Country food was delicious! The wild vegetables were plentiful and the bamboo shoots were the best. I was able to get a second helping of rice, and my whole family was very satisfied. I would like to take care of you again.
