My regular stop before heading to Shingu when hiking from Kumanoshi. Excellent food, clean and modern bathroom. Lovely hosts. Helpful if you can speak some Japanese.

This is a guesthouse that I have been staying at for several years whenever I have work nearby! This time, I had some time, so I posted this to express my gratitude✨The exterior and rooms look like a guesthouse, but the cleanliness is spot-on!This time, my partner who is staying with me doesn't like seafood, so we didn't have many fish dishes, but I couldn't help but be surprised by the wide range of dinner dishes my husband has prepared.Although it is home-cooked food, the freshness, taste, nutritional balance, and sense of security are by far the best.I don't get tired of staying for a long time, I actually look forward to the food 😂I've stayed at various hotels on business trips, but this one might be my favorite 😌Thank you for your continued support 🙇‍♂️

I worked with Atawa for about a month on a business trip for hotel construction. The prices are reasonable and the cleaning is good. The futon was clean and comfortable.Above all, the food was delicious, and the dashimaki tamago was by far the best. It's run by a husband and wife team, and they are very kind.I'm refraining from going fishing for now, but when the situation calms down and I go fishing, I would like to go again.

I was looking for a place to stay near my business trip and found this place. It felt like ``THE seaside guesthouse'', and for dinner I had a filling and delicious meal of mainly fish, which I love, but also boiled bamboo shoots, local vegetables, and tempura. At the cozy dining room, I was able to have a long chat with my co-workers over a beer. The couple at the inn are friendly people with lovely smiles. I was given a lot of detailed information about the local area, such as fireworks in Kumano, sea turtles laying eggs, and Nachi Falls, and I became very interested in this area. The bath, wash basin, and futons are not luxurious by any means, but there is a sense of cleanliness everywhere, and there is nothing to say about it! On the way home, I was pleasantly surprised to see the umbrella we had used neatly folded and leaning against the entrance.A short walk takes you to Shichirigahama Beach, and the sea breeze the next morning was so pleasant that I almost forgot I was here for work (lol).I don't have a place to stay for business, but I think I made the right choice this time because I can use a small guesthouse like this to both feel like I'm traveling and to get to know my co-workers!Next time I come to this place, I would like to use it for both business and private purposes.

I used it on a solo trip by car. It's a typical guesthouse, but the food was delicious. The price was low, I was given a lot of tourist information, and it was the perfect place to stay while touring Kumano Sanzan.
