Perfect for waiting for the ferry. The grassy campsite adjacent to the parking lot makes it easy to load and unload your belongings. There is a kitchen and dining table. It's OK even on rainy days, the toilets are clean, and it's a small campground (a place to sleep in your car?)Best of all, it's free. There are shops nearby where you can eat seafood and buy souvenir drinks.I gave it 4 stars because it is not a so-called campsite rich in nature. It was great

This was my first time using this campsite. It was spacious and had very nice facilities such as toilets and a kitchen.Thank you to Oma Town for providing such a wonderful place for free. Please take your trash home with you and use of open flames at tent sites is prohibited. For cooking, there are four kitchens available in the kitchen building. You can use the stove for 30 minutes for 100 yen. The heat is strong, so you can cook it thoroughly.Unfortunately, there were people who were unable to keep their promises and who were using stoves at tent sites. As someone who has seen many cases of people not following the rules at other campgrounds, charging fees, raising prices, and in the worst case, closing the site, I believe that the minimum rules should be followed, and it is the users who will be the ones who will be inconvenienced. Please think about this.

I arrived in Oma from Hakodate on an evening flight, and by the time I got here, most of the shops were closed. Only one restaurant was open, but there was no tuna. It may be a little different in the top season. The kitchen is indoors, which is helpful when it's cold or rainy.

There are places to eat nearby, the site has beautiful grass, and the restrooms have electricity, so it's not scary and clean. It's not in the mountains, but near houses, so I'm not afraid of bears...I guess.
