It's an old folk house built 130 years ago, so the atmosphere is wonderful. The most important part is the soba noodles, which are thicker and harder, so different tastes may vary.It was delicious.

A peaceful village forest. Looks like we're open for lunch on Saturdays and Sundays! It's near the best scenic observation deck in Japan!

I was curious about this place while browsing the internet to find a place to eat lunch, so I made a reservation and went. When I called, I was told that reservations for soba would be given priority. I took this opportunity to request it.The location is a little off the main street, but there's a sign at the entrance, so I don't think you'll get lost unless you get careless and miss it.As time passed, I arrived late, but I was welcomed warmly. Thank you (*´꒳`*)The outside looks like an old folk house and is very relaxing, and the interior is spacious with tatami mats. Also, including the scenery from the window with nothing around it, it feels like an original scenery. For cooking, I chose a hometown set meal that included soba noodles. I was told that the soba noodles were handmade, but they were thin, smooth, chewy, and extremely delicious. The set also includes simmered vegetables and Gohei mochi, making it quite filling. Honestly, this price is pretty good.

The weather was nice on the day I went, and there was a thatched roof standing in the middle of the countryside. When I looked out the window from inside the shop, it was very heartwarming. The soba noodles and Gohei mochi were delicious.
