Visited 2023/10/8.I went to stay the night on my way back from a car meetup. This inn has the feel of a pure Japanese inn, and I think it will become extremely popular if foreign travelers find out about it.I was able to relax in the hot spring bath, and the food was made with local ingredients and was very delicious. It was a very good inn to get away from the city and enjoy an extraordinary experience. I would like to visit during the autumn leaves season.

I wanted to go to a place where I could relax and not be crowded with inbound tourists, so I found this inn based on reviews and stayed for one night. After driving for a while from the interchange, the scenery became more and more peaceful, and I found Mitsui-san, a hot spring inn. Although the building seems to be many years old, you can see that it has been well-maintained. Although the room was along the river, the beautiful view of the murmuring stream and the greenery of the trees soothed my soul. I tried to use the bathtub when no one was around using my slippers as a guide, and both times I was able to enjoy the private bath. Everything for dinner was freshly prepared and delicious, and the fresh ayu sashimi and grilled sweetfish were both memorable and wonderful. Also, since my child does not like so-called hotel food, I consulted with him and he prepared a children's meal that was easy to eat and looked delicious. I was told that fireflies can be seen on the nearby riverside at night, so I went on a microbus to watch the fireflies, and I was very impressed with the unexpected service. It was a wonderful trip thanks to you. All of the staff at the inn provided pleasant customer service and made my stay very comfortable. It's a wonderful inn that I would like to visit again in a few years.

It was a very nice stay! The building has a historical feel to it, but the interior has a bed with a headboard equipped with a power supply and a USB port, making it easy to reach those itchy areas. Not only the bathroom, but also the water areas in the guest rooms were well-cleaned, making it a very comfortable stay. The open-air bath was open to both men and women, and it was a nice hot spring where you could see the clear flow of the river. I regret not being able to visit during the bright hours, so I would like to visit again. The food isn't fancy, but it's polite and delicious. The amago sashimi and grilled salt were delicious...I think it will be a fond memory that my husband, who was a grandmother's child, was moved to tears by the sight of the landlady (I think?) setting off in the rain and seeing us off with her umbrella closed.

A hot spring inn that takes pride in its free-flowing hot water. The hot water is clear and slightly brownish. It's lukewarm and you can stay in it for a long time. Of course, there is no chlorine smell. The open air is not large, but it has a feeling of openness.I feel like they are doing their best to renovate an old building. The food is also good as they serve local produce. The grilled amago fish was one of the most delicious river fish I've ever eaten. The ingredients were fresh, and the grilled meat was soft and delicious, without being bitter. (On rare occasions, there are some inns that serve tuna and squid that are not related to the mountains, which can be a bit disappointing.) I was able to fully enjoy the delicacies of the mountains.Due to the construction of the facility, it is not barrier-free, so please be careful if you have difficulty climbing stairs.
