I used it for the night before my trek through the Tsukuba Mountain Range. It has a very comfortable Showa-era atmosphere. Reasonable accommodation rates. The landlady is a cheerful, friendly, and fun person 😊 I would like to take care of you again next time!

This inn is a 1-minute walk from Iwase Station on the JR Mito Line.I rented a bicycle as a means of transportation to Makabe Castle via Tsukuba Rinrin Road. There are many bicycles in the garage, and on this day I chose one that cost 600 yen. 5-speed gearbox with front basket. It was apparently used in the Olympic Village for the Tokyo Olympics. They also lent me helmets. It was comfortable, except that even the lightest first stage felt heavy, probably due to the Olympian specifications (?).The staff at the inn were very kind and gave us directions.I visited without a reservation on this day, but since it seems to be crowded in the spring and fall, it is best to make a reservation at least 3 days in advance. Also, if you make a reservation, you can return it at another location such as Tsuchiura.Next time I would like to use a lightweight minivelo.

Thank you for using this hotel not as a place to stay but as a place to rent bicycles from a wide area. I got on the wrong train and the start time was delayed by 2 hours, so I called and told them that I would be renting the car even if I was late, and they came out and waited for me outside the inn. I was grateful for the advice that I should change the return location since the return is until 16:00. What's more, it was really helpful for me to call both the original return address and the new return address. Next time, I would like to stay overnight and enjoy cycling.

I rented a bicycle here. The staff at the inn were very kind and I was able to depart comfortably.By the way, rental bicycles must be reserved at least 3 days in advance! Reservations can be made from the “Tsukuba Kasumigaura Rinrin Road” web page!*The photo is a souvenir I received at the inn.

I used it to rent a bicycle. It is a city bicycle that costs 600 yen per day and has 6 speeds. I went back and forth on Tsukuba Rinrin Road to Makabe on this bicycle. It was a 20km round trip on a mostly straight, almost flat road with no cars running, and I enjoyed the view of Mt. Tsukuba and Mt. Kaba. How wonderful is the cherry blossom season, lined with rows of cherry blossom trees? The inn was conveniently located in front of the station, and the kind couple taught us a lot. It seems to be crowded on Saturdays and Sundays, so we recommend making reservations early or on weekdays. This time, I want to run all the way to the final stop, Tsuchiura.
