I visited during the Onjuku Ise Shrimp Festival.First of all, the food was delicious. The fish was delicious. The purpose of this visit was to have a choice of cooking methods for the spiny lobsters, so the family I went with and I chose a different cooking method and were able to enjoy two different flavors. We had wine and sake, and we were given an explanation of each region's production areas and rice, so it was great to be able to enjoy the meal while learning about the region. The guest rooms are not luxurious, but they have a calming atmosphere that takes advantage of the old building. The inn is full of ingenuity such as a cafe space and library space.Because it's not a big inn, I felt the hospitality of the people everywhere, and it became a wonderful memory.I'll visit you again. thank you very much.

The last part of dinner was delicious Maitake mushroom tempura! Sake is the best choice for sashimi, simmered dishes, and the best grilled dishes. The local sake Koshiyoshii recommended by the host was delicious. I'll be staying again!

A very relaxing stay away from everyday life.Good distance from the station.Close to the sea and close to a supermarket. The room and futon were very clean. As someone who was born in the Showa era, I like the nostalgic atmosphere of the room, the spacious veranda, and the bathroom.A hideaway-like inn that you'll want to cherish. The person at the front desk was really nice and gave me a printout and told me about sightseeing in Katsuura.Even my elementary school-age grandson enjoyed going to the library.I will definitely come again 🌟

Everything was just right. You don't have to strain your shoulders, it's a good height from the station, and the service is warm with a watchful stance.

This is a very kind inn.Meals can be eaten in a private room, they can accommodate early departures, and there is a service drink corner. The bathroom is a little disappointing.Other than that, the food is satisfying!Reservations from HP are cheaper than any other site!

I used it last summer. We spent two nights together. There was some trouble with the flight, so I was the only one who couldn't make it in time for my first night's stay, but they were very kind to me over the phone, and after I arrived, I was very happy to be taken care of. I was feeling depressed because I couldn't make it in time for my exciting trip, but that response alone really saved my life. thank you very much. The inside of the building had been renovated and was very clean. The sea is also very close, and I was able to spend a wonderful time away from everyday life by going for a walk and going to a nearby izakaya. If I have a chance to go to Onjuku again, I would definitely like to use it again.I'm really thankful to you.

This is an inn where the staff are very friendly and you can feel that they are considerate towards visitors. The building itself is old, but has been renovated and is clean. It has outdoor showers and a drying area, and is a 5-minute walk from Onjuku Beach, making it a convenient inn for playing in the sea or surfing.However...I feel bad that I can't support a local inn, but I personally think it would be difficult to visit again due to the following points. I think it's just a matter of personal preference, so please keep this in mind. There are only shoji screens on the windows of the room, so when I go to sleep at night, the light from the street lights keeps me from getting pitch black. In the morning, the sun shines in, so I wake up earlier than I had planned, and on days when I play in the sea, I get a good rest. I wanted to, but unfortunately it was difficult. Also, in rooms along the street, I could hear the sounds of cars at night, and although there wasn't a lot of traffic, I personally found it bothersome and had trouble sleeping.Perhaps because we are close to the sea, the tap water has a peculiar taste, and there is a hot water pot in the cafe corner, but the taste (smell?) made it difficult for me to drink the tea unless I made it strong.Even though it boils, I would have been grateful if the hot water pot had purified water in it.If you have a pot in your room, you can buy your own pet and make tea, but there is only a cafe corner here...We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause as the hotel has already made efforts...
