This is my second time using it, following Golden Week the year before last. Actually, I had booked a relatively new inn in Shinkamigoto Town, but due to coronavirus countermeasures, I couldn't make a reservation, so I booked one that I had already used. Last time I traveled on a large bike, and this time I traveled alone on a small scooter.First, let me point out one difficulty. It's about the evening meal. I was scheduled to check in at 7pm and was able to arrive a few minutes early. I parked my scooter in front of the entrance (I also parked my large motorbike in front of the entrance), and the landlady asked me when it would be time to eat. I answered that in about 30 minutes. Then, she seemed confused and replied that the meal time was from 6:30 pm. I said again that I would eat immediately after getting ready in my room, and went to the dining room a little after 7pm. There seemed to be only one other customer besides me that day.I think the inflexibility of meal times is the only and biggest bottleneck. Other than that, if you know the character of this inn, which has a Showa-era feel, you won't have any problems at all. The bath is also normal, but the hot water comes out well.The food is so luxurious that you can enjoy Goto's seafood to your heart's content. It also came with beef sukiyaki. It was a particularly valuable experience to be able to eat the rare whale meat, Suwaki Whale. Unfortunately, I'm a picky eater, so even though I intentionally left out the rice, I still ended up with some left over. This is my only regret. Breakfast was a standard Japanese meal, and I ate it all.This is one of the few inns in the Wakamatsu area. For tourists arriving by evening ferry from Arikawa, we would appreciate it if you could accommodate the meal time a little later, even if it was late (the latest check-in time at Jalan is 7:00 pm). We stayed for 2 nights on Goto Cycling. She leaves a good impression as a bright and friendly young proprietress.The dishes are mainly fish such as sashimi and boiled fish, and there is also hot pot and crab, so you won't be able to finish it all🙏Although the room feels rustic, it is a spacious 10 tatami Japanese-style room. It's made of wood, so you can hear the people next to you ^^;

The local food was delicious.

Coupled with the fresh ingredients, the taste of my husband's seafood and tempura, polished in Kyoto barrels, was superb, and I was impressed by the kindness of the entire family. My son was very satisfied with the fishing experience the next morning...it was worth the visit from Tailand.
