There were no reviews and the official website didn't have much information, so this is for reference for future users.Perhaps it was due to coronavirus countermeasures or the reservation situation, but on the day of the event, only four groups of families were able to use the four corners of the 10-section site, making it very luxurious. When 10 sections are fully used, each section seems quite small. There are no visible divisions between the sections. The site is grass, sand, and a school playground. The staff responded politely at the reception, and there was no need to speak to them after that. When checking out, I left without approaching the reception desk.Water is available at the hand-washing area next to the school building, toilets are in the school building (designated) and in the gymnasium (Japanese style); after 9pm, the gymnasium is the only facility. The toilet was not clean as it seemed to be cleaned occasionally. It is prohibited to wash your body in the water area, and you will be asked to take a shower in the newly installed unit bath, which costs 500 yen for 10 minutes. In the summer, a cold shower (200 yen) at the beach might be a good idea. There are regular priced soft drink vending machines in the gymnasium. At the reception desk, you can get a mug of draft beer for 600 yen.Conveniently located 5 minutes walk from Ubara Beach. There are Genghis Khan restaurants and privately run family restaurants in the surrounding area, making it possible to eat out. There are no large supermarkets in the area, and if you drive for about 10 minutes in the direction of Kamogawa, you'll find the Wakuwaku Hiroba Family Center, which is small, but it was nice to have local foods such as side dishes and sashimi.A mysterious pumping sound coming from the underground passage connecting the school and the school route? ? It was eerie because it continued to buzz regularly for 24 hours and echoed in the underground passage. There are railroad tracks right behind the school, and you can hear trains running once or twice an hour. Since it's a local line, there aren't many of them, and there are even fewer trains at night, so the last train seems to be early, so I didn't mind that much. This time we were lucky to have it during the high season, but it seems expensive if the plot is fully used. There is no maintenance as a campsite, and for better or worse, it feels like an abandoned school. The location is good, so I thought it could be improved with more work.Since the beach is so close, I thought it would be very convenient to have a water shower that I could easily use, or at least a tap that I could use for casual purposes (to cover myself, to wash sand off my body and tools, etc.).
