An amazing place to rest after activities around Shingu. Located by a main road so easy to find, but not noisy at all. The host was very nice (and funny), and spoke good English.Spacious, clean and comfortable room with brand new kitchen and bathroom.Would definately recommend!

I stayed here last night with a good friend of mine during our road trip through Wakayama. I can only describe our stay here as perfect. We could park in front of the temple so we had our car nearby our room. It was really cool to have a temple so close to our room. The room is quite spacious and has everything you need: a kitchen (microwave, fridge, freezer, etc.), futon and your own shower and toilet. On top of that the room was extremely clean. The host was really welcoming and funny and spoke English, besides Japanese, which made communicating easy. He gave us a few tips for something to do in- and around the city. Lastly the stay included a few free drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks), which was more than we expected. The check in and check out went very smoothly.Overall I can't recommend this place enough!

Thank you for your help after visiting Kumano Hayatama Taisha Shrine. Since it opened in December last year, the room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. There are many temples nearby so I got lost, but the priest kindly guided me. This is a wonderful inn where you can feel the warm hospitality of the priest.
