The place is amazing in a beautiful Japanese style building on a mountain slope. We arrived with a rented car but I think it's maybe 20-30 minutes to the nearest train station by walk.I heard the train ride there is incredible as well in sakura time but didn't have time to try it.The host family lives nextdoor, but you have a big house and yard all for yourself with all the privacy. There is a cozy fireplace, kitchen with all the amenities, TV and also an outdoor bath tube which was one of the best things. Also the host can rent you a tuktuk which was a special and unforgettable experience to drive in the countryside. We were lucky to visit by the best sakura time and the weather was also good.I also recommend trying the mochi making experience with the host family. You can also have a kotatsu outside for the evening.I'm pretty sure if you decide to stay here you won't be disappointed.

Yoshi was a great host and very concerned about our comfort. Lovely traditional Japanese home. We couldn't have asked for a more cozy place to stay. The countryside was gorgeous. There are outside heated bathtubs, too. There is a train station nearby for easy access to town. We got to make mochi in the traditional fashion by pounding with hammers. A great time was had by all. If you can, make this one of you places to stay.

This is a private lodging that is highly recommended for families! In addition to enjoying barbecues, bonfires, open-air cypress baths, and tuk-tuks, you can also enjoy Nagashi Somen noodles in the summer and fireplaces in the winter, depending on the season! We visited this summer and enjoyed fireworks and watermelon splitting😊The host is very kind and the concept of enjoying life as if you were living there fits perfectly, making it one of the inns I personally recommend.I would love to visit you again 🙋‍♂️

The owner is kind and fun. They helped us start a fire, and we had a BBQ.We had a relaxing time listening to the soothing chirping of birds, the gentle breeze, and the sound of a swaying fire. The facility was also very clean.I was also happy when I was surrounded by things that made me feel warm, such as ceramic tableware, bamboo colanders, and a nice table.I would like to visit you again ☆
