I visited for the first time in a while during my travels during the Obon holidays. In the early 2000s, I used to camp here with my family every summer vacation. It was nostalgic and felt like the vibrancy of the past had returned. The river is shallower and narrower than it used to be, but I think it's safer for children to play in.At that time, there were quite a few deep spots and the momentum seemed to be amazing, so I'm relieved that it's safe now. However, the boats and play equipment in the pond that we went down the stairs to were very rotten, which made me feel very sad. Is it safe for children to play in those conditions? I think so. If you can repair it even a little, I think you will be able to enjoy camping and day trips more safely and happily. As of now, I am giving it 3 stars, but I will give it 4 stars based on my expectations for the future.

I used the premium site for one night. After arriving, I completed the reception, but there was no particular explanation about the venue. There are no guide maps, so it's a lot of trouble. This area is very unfriendly. As I was moving to the site after being given a verbal explanation of the route, an old man on a bicycle suddenly appeared. As soon as I walked in, I was asked, ``What about the reception? ”What is this rampant attitude?Isn't it normal for you to check with them first instead of checking with me directly? The children also laughed at this response. The impression of the site is that of pitching a tent in a field in a park. There are no landmarks, so people enjoying day camping should be prepared to cross the site and trespass. However, the site is wide and doesn't have much slope, so you can use it to your heart's content.I don't think there will be any problems with showers and toilets if you are used to camping. There is a nice river flowing nearby, which is very soothing and a great playground for the kids, so we had a great time. However, even those who are not staying overnight can use the park and river, so it is not suitable for those who are concerned about camping morals.I went home thinking that I had more fun at the Shirakaba site, where I could enjoy the atmosphere of a campsite, than at the expensive premium site.

This was my second time camping, and both last time and this time, the staff were very accommodating and I was able to camp comfortably from beginning to end. There are regular patrols so you can rest assured. To use the washing machine, pay 300 yen at the reception and they will lend you the faucet. Showers are available in 3 rooms and cost 100 yen for 2.5 minutes, 24 hours a day. It has been significantly renovated since the last time I used it, and every part was properly repaired and clean. As I have said many times, the staff are very kind. This is a recommended campsite.

2024.7.13 I took my 5th grade boy and 1st grade girl for a drive for an hour from Minami Alps City.Seeking the coolness of the water to escape the hot sun.The grass and athletic areas are cool under the shade of trees when the wind passes through them. A little further down is the Kobu River, which is about as deep as an adult's knees. It's cool to go in with sandals or bare feet. There were so many tadpoles that the children were desperately trying to catch them. Before you know it, 2 hours have passed. Please note that the parking lot closes after 4:30.

After all, the river water is beautiful. It's not too cold even in summer, so you can feel comfortable. The site is also partitioned with white birch, making it relatively spacious. It cannot be denied that the shower and toilet are a little old.Starting in 2023!? Apparently the management has changed, and the premises have become much smaller.Still, it's a campground that has a charm that makes you want to go every year.
