There are a lot of harsh reviews, but when I actually stayed there, I found that the facilities were carefully designed, and the cleaning was thorough and clean. We were blessed with good weather, and from the site we could see stars and the Yatsugatake mountain range. It felt like I was going to stay at a relative's uncle's house, and I felt comfortable as long as I brought a bath towel (if I was using the hotel's bath), a toothbrush, skin care products, pajamas, and water. (stayed in October)With a completely bio-based and sustainable concept, the meals served at the inn are made in our own fields.Since it is run by the owner alone, I felt that if the guests were to be considerate of this, they would not have received such harsh comments.I saw a comment that it took 40 minutes for the explanation at check-in, but it only took about 5 minutes for us, and if we told them that we weren't having dinner, they would try to get us to a nearby restaurant sooner. He even gave me a phone call. However, the restrooms and washrooms are shared, so if you go there often, it might be better to reserve a room on the 1st floor.

I stayed there the other day.Like other reviewers, I checked in around midnight, and the owner came out and took care of me even though it was late at night. At that time, the strict rules were explained to me, and I regret making the reservation. However, the inn itself is based on the sustainable concept of the owner, which includes meals made entirely from home-grown organic vegetables and the ability to sleep on a futon and draw your own sheets. For those who take the luxury and convenience of daily life for granted, there is the joy of preparing for it yourself. Thank you for preparing homemade organic vegetables. If you don't understand this and stay at this hotel, it's just like any other business hotel, and you'll be in trouble. But gratitude for normal life. The owner's enthusiasm for the word "Starry Sky Retreat".If you can feel the love there, I think you will definitely appreciate the goodness of this hotel. This inn is not a place you visit as a guest, but as a guest. I am also participating in sustainability. I love the earth. If such a person stays with you, you will have the best experience.Next time, I would like to make sure to stay on time. thank you very much.

I made a big mistake when I made a reservation without checking the details in advance.Unfortunately ①Owner's lack of hospitality spiritNot only are there many restrictions, but the owner's lack of smiles and attentiveness make it feel more like a training experience than a fun stay. When I went out to the shoes area while carrying a small child, I was warned not to walk in the shoes area without shoes on once I put my feet on the floor and put on my shoes. If you think so, why not just move your shoes closer? It's very unpleasant.Unfortunately ②Owner's attitude is rudeThe rules of the inn were explained to me, but he had an overbearing attitude from beginning to end, and when I remained silent after explaining each rule, he asked, "Are you okay?" and "Is there anything you need?" as if I were complaining. How to ask such questions.Unfortunately ③There are moments when I feel like I'm being watched. At the time of check-in, I was asked to take the temperature of all family members and use alcohol disinfectant, but I watched them intently as if I was monitoring them as they disinfected themselves. Furthermore, my child (2 years old) wanted to ride on the animal dolls in the eating area, so I asked the owner if he could ride on them, and he told me to ride in the middle of his back. One adult assists and supervises the entire process of transporting the child. There were also many other situations where I was stared at, which made me feel very uncomfortable.Unfortunately ④rules are too strict- No food or drinks allowed to be brought in(When I was there, they didn't even allow water to be brought in, so if you wanted to drink it, you had to drink tap water (well water).)-There is a bathroom, but there are no towels(Sustainable towels seem to be trending right now, but if you don't have a towel, you should buy one at a convenience store. Maybe it's not sustainable?)-Bathroom availability is short as reservations are required.(45 minutes per family)-It seems that there is a lot of noise inside the facility, making it difficult for small children (I wish they would not allow preschoolers...)•The room is dim with only indirect lighting. There are no futons or TVs.I didn't stay there because there were too many unpleasant things during check-in, but I've never been to an accommodation where I felt so unwelcome.

In short, an inn with strong commitment. If you stay there as if it were a regular hotel, you will regret it. Eating and drinking is prohibited in the room, there are no ceiling lights, baths require reservations, and in addition, there are no towels, refrigerators, or air conditioners.I think I can recommend it to those who think the inconvenience is a good thing, but I can't accept the fact that it doesn't have the minimum facilities.

It was a very unpleasant experience. Check-in was at 4:30 p.m., but it took about 40 minutes to explain the rules. There are too many detailed rules, such as no eating or drinking indoors, no drinking water, reservations required for bathrooms, and until 9 p.m.It's like the strict school rules of junior high school. I was surprised at the cold customer service. The room was very small and there was no air conditioning, so it was very hot.The female staff didn't greet us at all, looked at us with a strange look, and the child felt uneasy. The service is not considerate to the customers, and there is no proper customer service etiquette.
