Stayed at Business Hotel Takahashi. Although it's the closest to the station, it's cheap, has plenty of facilities, and the front desk staff are kind.If the bus or train is canceled due to bad weather, I'm grateful that they let me stay overnight even if I call them the same day.I stayed in a slightly larger Japanese-style room (for two people?), but it had a small but neat tatami table with two chairs, and an old-fashioned tea chest with tea bags in it. There is an electric kettle, refrigerator, stove, air conditioner, and Plasmacluster humidifier to keep you comfortable. The wallpaper and vinyl tatami are brand new and clean, probably because it was recently renovated. I was relieved to have towels and yukata in the room as a matter of course (some guesthouses rent these separately).The ceiling light is bright enough, but you can only turn it on and off with a switch on the wall, so it might be a good idea to use an andon (a newer Japanese modern type) near your bed when you sleep. There was also a nostalgic National flashlight, and I was reminded that back in the day, inns always had flashlights. It was quiet at night.Is it rare these days? Personally, I liked that there was an alarm clock (digital) and a smartphone stand. There is also a large full-length mirror, making it easy to get ready.As a result of adding the necessary items according to the times to the facilities of traditional inns, we have created a livability that combines the best features of inns and business hotels. If you go to the front desk, you can drink a latte from the free coffee machine. Next time I would like to stay overnight with meals included.

This is one of the few hotels in Engaru where you can use Wi-Fi.As a hotel in a rural town, the furnishings also have a nostalgic feel.It was a very average facility and I had no complaints.

I used it on a sightseeing trip.Although it is close to the station, there are several parking spaces available next to it.The facility is old. The toilet lever in the room I stayed in was wobbly and I felt anxious for a moment when I flushed it.However, it was hardly old or dirty, and the staff were polite and attentive, so I was able to stay with peace of mind.

It's near the station.Engaru is on the Sekihoku Main Line.It is a place suitable for regular train travel.Cards can be used.Reservations can only be made by phone.There are only guest rooms on the second floor, so it's not that bothersome, but you can hear some noise from your neighbors.Separate heater compared to sister hotelsI liked it.It looks like you can spend a comfortable time even in the middle of winter.There is also one sauna bath. Although the gender is not written, it will be tough for women.Available hours are 16:00-22:00It seems that even non-guests can use it.The coin laundryThere is only one washing machine and one dryer.If you are in a hurry, we recommend the coin laundry located across from Hotel Sunshine.If you take the Sekihoku Main Line to Abashiri early in the morningPlease note that the front desk is closed.

Close to Engaru Station. All guest rooms are on the second floor. I could see the station from the second-floor terrace, and there was a large covered parking lot on the right side of Takahashi Inn across the street. The room was usable without any problems. Wi-Fi was weak at times. The phone support was good, and I thought it would be a good idea to stay here or at the Takahashi Inn across the street in Engaru. All rooms are non-smoking, but there were ashtrays in front of the hotel and elsewhere. I thought it was a smoker-friendly accommodation. The rice was also delicious. thank you for helping me.
