This inn is within walking distance from Engaru Station.It's a ryokan that I can recommend to experienced travelers as it has affordable accommodation rates with meals and free parking, but I'm not sure if it was just the room I stayed in, but the room I was taken to had a pet odor, or rather an animal odor. It was too strong!I think that the human nose gets used to smells that are unpleasant and stops feeling them after being around for a long time, but this was a bit harsh for me.The original rating would have been 4 stars, but I didn't like the animal smell so I gave it 3 stars.What were the other rooms like? 🤔

I stayed here for work in February. The room was warm, the futon was clean, and very comfortable. Both the landlady and her son were friendly and I felt comfortable talking with them. There didn't seem to be any tourists at the hotel, and most of them were staying for long periods of time for work.The breakfast served was grilled fish, fried egg, seaweed, natto, pickles, rice, and miso soup. It was delicious enough.Although the washroom and bath are shared, it's much more relaxing than staying in a single room in a small, enclosed business hotel for the same amount of money.It was heartwarming to see the handmade cover carefully placed over the air conditioner, which is not used in the winter.I think it's a good accommodation.

I used it for the first time at work. Breakfast was included this time, and the selection was good, and the mother and son's customer service was good, and I was able to stay comfortably.

It is managed by a mother and her son. Your room is also clean. The bath is fully equipped with shampoo and soap. Bath towels and towels are available in the room!The rice is very delicious and the volume is 💯! I'm sure even those who are into the genre will be satisfied. If you wish, you can also bring your lunch box ➰😊

The rooms are spacious and the prices are reasonable. It's a bit of a walk from Engaru Station, but I thought it was better value for money than the business hotels in front of the station.
