My family of 6 stayed here.If you want to stay in a room for 6 people, some hotels and inns will cost around 100,000 yen per night...So I was looking for a hostel or guesthouse where I could stay at a cheap price.This is close to Odawara Castle and within walking distance of convenience stores and supermarkets.You can also rent the kitchen, so you don't have to eat out.What I liked about this guesthouse was the cleanliness!The room, kitchen, toilet and bathroom were all pleasantly clean.The elementary and junior high school students also felt very relaxed and said they would like to live here.There are lots of lights and they all look great.I thought the stairs and the step from the kitchen to the room on the first floor were steep at first, but I quickly got used to it.The washing machine also has a drum type and can be used for drying, which was very helpful.The only problem our family had was that there were 4 single beds and a bunk bed, so it was a bit cramped for our preschooler to sleep with us.I wanted to put the single beds together, but I had to give up because of the pillars.My child probably should have slept in a bunk bed with a rail, as he almost fell out of bed several times when he turned over.Also, the lights at the emergency exit on the second floor are bright, so if you want to sleep in total darkness, it might be a good idea to bring an eye mask.There was some traffic even at night, so the child who slept in the bed next to the window seemed to be a little concerned.The owner was also kind and responded very politely.If I have a chance to go to Odawara again, I would like to use it again.
