It was a very nice hotel. The room was also spacious and clean. It's a place with a lot of history, so if you want a relaxing stay, I recommend it.Nearby restaurants close early. There's nowhere to eat. (Although it is a little far away)So, I think it would be great if I could have dinner prepared at the hotel. It seems that the sushi restaurant caters, but I think some people can't eat it, so I would be happy if they could enrich the bento box (*^-^)

The building was in disrepair, but the former mayor of Mashiko spent an incredible amount of money on it.

It's a very quaint and wonderful inn.The glasses in the room were Mashiko ware and cute 💓There are not many rooms, so it is recommended for those who want to spend a quiet time. The loungewear was not a yukata, but a nightgown with a top and bottom part. There are baths in your room and a private family bath. You can use it by making a reservation at check-in.There was a hair dryer in both the room and the family bath!

Yuwakan is a very special experience, it’s not opulent or luxurious, rather it is considered and calm drawing on traditional Japanese interior design with an update for technology and contemporary needs. The private use of the sento bath is an absolutely special addition that makes the stay even better.Service is wonderful, attentive and respectful, our host even drove us to and from dinner. Absolutely recommended.

Mashiko Street It's a little far from Pottery Street, but if you're driving, what's that? The room is way too spacious. It's a waste of people to fall asleep right after reading the reviews. That's right. The bath is a family bath, and it's very nice with Mashiko ware tiles. The breakfast bowls are stylish Mashiko-yaki dishes, and the owner's handmade dishes are just the right size to decorate the bowls. Also, please stop by the Peace Gallery❗️It's inside the innI heard Emperor Showa's voice on the radio at the end of the war, and even though I didn't know anything about the war, I could feel his feelings at that time.Things you should never repeat and get nothing from❗️The room that the Emperor was evacuated to when he was a child has been relocated here❗️ The old buildings and the renovated buildings are wonderful.

A place I've been curious about for a long time. It was relocated from a room at the Nanma Hotel where Emperor Heisei was evacuated during the war, and it's very moving to think that this is where the Gyokuon broadcasts were heard. It's also great that you can tour it for just 100 yen. I would like to stay the night next time.

The room and the inside of the hotel were very clean and I was able to spend a quiet and relaxing time. Breakfast was also delicious with lots of vegetables. The private bath was a little small, but it was large enough for two people.

There are no specific instructions once you enter the entrance, so guests should be careful. I thought it would be nice to have an information board for guests next to the entrance. When I was guided into the room, it was a very large room. The room has been renovated and is beautiful. The room has a toilet and shower room. There is a private bath on the first floor, which can be used only once by making a reservation at check-in.Dinner is a loose meal served in your room. Breakfast was made with vegetables grown in Mashiko Town. They were both delicious. It's quiet anyway, soThis is an inn where you can spend a relaxing time.

The modern Japanesque remodelling ( sparse, sleek, clean, rational to the extreme, serene, tranquil) is done superbly. If you like to stay at designer inn Japanese style, this place is highly recommended. Because the former emperor in his young days stayed in this building during WWII, there is an excellent exhibition and video program on the second floor. A room where the crown prince listened to the radio broadcast of his father declaring the defeat of the war for Japan is carefully restored and you can sit and meditate.
