I wanted to walk through the scenery of Tono Monogatari, so I stayed here for two nights and enjoyed it. There were 3 friendly wait staff and I had a very peaceful time. The food was delicious and I have fond memories.

I used it when sightseeing in Tono.It has been recognized as a cultural property and has structures unique to the Tono region (including a horse path and a large Shinto altar), making it a sight to behold. The room felt like I was in my grandma's house in the countryside, and I was able to relax a lot.(There was no air conditioner, just a fan, but the nights and mornings were cool and I had the best sleep of the whole trip 😆)And best of all...I was so excited because it felt like there was a zashikiwarashi there!Dinner was a luxurious meal where you could fully enjoy Tono cuisine. Among them, the Genghis Khan had no taste, the meat was tender, and it was delicious! The owner was also kind and talked to us about Tono's history and monsters during dinner. The cat family (Botan, Momo, and Sakura) seemed shy at first, but by the evening they had gotten used to us and were hospitable to us.I would like to use it again if I have a chance✨✨

Thank you for staying with us for one night during our trip to Iwate. For dinner, we had Genghis Khan as our main dish, and the sashimi, tempura, and grilled fish were all delicious. There was no air conditioner in the room, but by opening the window and using a fan, it wasn't too hot. Breakfast was delicious from the morning with fried eggs, bacon, grilled fish, grated yam, seasoned seaweed, natto, yogurt, etc. The rooms face the road, so there is some noise when cars pass by. Although the building is very old, I thought it was very atmospheric and nice.

We stayed overnight with meals included in the morning and evening! All the dishes were delicious, including Genghis Khan, tempura, sashimi, and hittsumi soup.It was a snowy day, but when I went up to my room on the second floor, it was warm and warm with a stove. The futon was soft and I slept soundly (lol)The people staying at the inn were kind (the landlady seemed a little hard of hearing) and there were very friendly and cute cats, so I felt like I was at my grandma's house and I was able to relax. It was a great trip!

On Sunday, October 8th, I rode my bike from Akita City to Tono City. I was planning to go home for the day, but I ended up getting late and ended up staying the night. They kindly agreed to my reservation for today's hotel on short notice, which was very helpful.Although the inn is an old building, it was kept in good condition. It was designated as a national cultural property. There was a hearth in the living room, which gave it a nice atmosphere. It seemed like the master and his mother were managing the whole thing. Ah, I forgot. There was also another cute cat😍.Although I was staying overnight without meals, both of them were very friendly and treated me very well.Thank you very much. Also, if I have a chance, I would like to repeat it.
