2024.10.1I stayed here for the second time in 6 years. The creative cuisine prepared by the third-generation chef is as exquisite as ever, and the conversation after the meal is fun and shows his personality. In addition to the hot springs, each room has a separate washroom and private toilet.I take my hat off to the idea that turned the coronavirus pandemic from a crisis into an opportunity.Last time and this time, I used it for the night before climbing Mt. Kitadake.Since we were leaving early in the morning, we had a rice ball bento for breakfast, and we were taken to the Ashiyasu parking lot just after 4am.thank you.The breakfast lunch box was delicious at Shirane Oike Hut!(This time too, due to bad weather, I couldn't make the traverse, so I decided to go down to Hirogawara the next day. I will use it again next year for revenge!)

I didn't use the guesthouse or inn, but instead used the cafeteria to buy stickers and have iced coffee.

I went on a family trip with my mother and 8-month-old daughter (^^) We had wonderful memories of the very comfortable accommodation, delicious food, and fun stories.●I was happy that when I arrived at the inn, a futon was already laid out in the room and I was able to relax right away.●There were two chairs in the room, and my mother was happy that they were comfortable for her lower back.●The private bath is reserved for one hour per group, so even if you have a small baby, you can have a relaxing time. I brought a bouncer into the changing room, and it was large enough for 3 people. The hot spring water made my body feel warm after taking a bath.●Dinner was served in a hall, but it was separated into private rooms. The tatami room had a table, so we had a leisurely meal while letting the baby play on the floor and sometimes sleeping on the cushions (we were very grateful).●The meal was delicious! The chicken offal, tempura (I was impressed by the deliciousness of the peach), and the handmade soba noodles were especially delicious. The real pleasure of traveling is being able to eat delicious local food.●Although there is not one in the room, there is a communal refrigerator, and there is a separate toilet and sink (with mirror and outlet) for each room, so it was not an inconvenience. It was a very comfortable stay. The landlady was attentive to the children during the meal, and after the meal, the third generation came to greet them and chat with them. It was a heart-warming stay that can only be found in a guesthouse, thank you very much (^^)

The food is really amazing. This is far beyond the level normally found in guesthouses, so I wonder what this means. When I asked about it, I was told that the third generation, who had been training at a famous, long-established soba restaurant for many years, took over the guest house when the previous generation retired. This long-established soba restaurant specializes in local dishes such as chicken offal stew.Actually, on my way home, I stopped at the soba restaurant (there are multiple locations, but it's a popular second branch. Waited for 50 minutes!) and had chicken motsu ni and soba noodles, but personally, I prefer the dinner at Natoriya. I think it's delicious. It's that delicious. At the end of dinner, soba will be served, and this soba is also very delicious, so please eat at your own pace. (Local rice is delicious, but if you eat too much, it won't go well with the soba noodles.)Also, the hot springs with good hot water and the well-cleaned interior of the hotel are wonderful, but what stands out is the delicious air in the Ashiyasu area. It's completely mountain air.I was impressed by the quality of the air when I opened the window in the morning (afterwards, I had the best night's sleep...)Although Ashiyasu is actually not that far from the city, I think its deep mountain-like atmosphere is also appealing. For those who are climbing the Southern Alps such as Mt. Kitadake, they will accommodate you for the night before and after your trip, and will take care of various things such as transportation to the mountain climbing bus stop and packing lunches instead of breakfast (details are on the homepage). The third generation may look flashy at first glance (sorry, lol) but he talks a lot, but he is a mysterious person with a deep knowledge of many fields and a combination of craftsmanship and passion.

Used for overnight stay before climbing Mt. Kitadake in July. They provided transportation to the parking lot and arranged a shared taxi for us the next morning. Dinner was also very delicious. The host was a very friendly person. Thank you for your help.

I came here after reading the reviews, and the room, bath, and food were good.Although the toilet and washroom are shared, they are separated and were comfortable to use. I was happy that the room was also equipped with an air purifier. The baths were also separated by time in each room, so you could take a bath at your desired time and use it at your leisure.I was able to eat local food and was very satisfied. It was especially nice to be able to eat seasonal peaches for breakfast. The other dishes also showed the innkeeper's passion.
