I'm traveling with a dog♪I was able to stay comfortably with my grandfather who is in a wheelchair 😊We were warmly welcomed by all the staff.My grandparents were also happy with the four beds and big screen TV. The room was clean and the attached bathroom was new and comfortable.I was worried about the road from the lake, but it's just beyond my hard work, so please be careful when proceeding 🚙It's better to wait until you have enough before heading out to buy anything!

Calm and beautiful place in the foot of the mountain.A picturesque road inside the forest takes you there and I was lucky to see a couple of deers in the way.At night,free of light pollution the stars in the sky are astonishing!Great place to relax with birds singing while you take a walk around the hotel.

We stayed at white hotel grand hakuba in early March, it is really uncrowded for hakuba as location is slightly secluded which is a plus for us. However you will need a car if you want to ski and eat outside of the resort. The location is great as it is just up the hill from the ski lift.What is most memorable for us however was the service. My car’s battery went out of juice just before we went out for dinner where we had a reservation. It was snowing heavily and freezing cold, but Kuma San (thx so much!) helped me jumped start the car (which was first time for him and me, with the help of YouTube). And we made the dinner in time! Really appreciate the effort.

Thank you very much to the hotel staff, especially the Chinese-speaking guy. We came very late from Tokyo, and the guy drove the hotel bus to Shinano-Omachi Station to pick us up, and arranged a taxi for our friends who arrived later (the local area is really awesome). It's very desolate, and there are no taxis in sight. If he doesn't help, we really won't have a car (because the taxi-hailing software can't be registered), and the guy is very good in Chinese and English, and he is also very patient, and will remind us about things. There is no solution for booking meals three days in advance. Behind the hotel is the さのさか Ski Resort, which is ski-in and ski-out. The hotel can rent ski equipment and clothing (but no protective equipment). You can buy ski tickets directly at the front desk and check out. The hotel is very well decorated. It's attentive and quiet. It's really quiet and comfortable. The twin room has a smaller bed and the room is larger than in Tokyo. It's clean and tidy. There are three separate bathrooms. It has a bathtub and is very spacious. There are also hot springs and public and private baths. Yes, reservations are accepted. However, the location is a bit far from the village. It is not convenient to eat without ordering. However, the hotel has a bus that will take you to the town for meals. Reservations are also required, and it can only seat 11 people.
